Ladies...and that's what you will be known as going forward...

I will be sending out an email shortly through the pool site - so please make sure you check your email regularly.

The pool time will be 9:15pm - Tuesday, September 7th.

Please TEST YOUR SYSTEM using the function on there to make sure your comp can handle the draft system...especially if you are on a MAC as I know they break down and do weird things often.

Also - please BE EARLY for the draft...so there is no confusion as it will start AUTOMATICALLY at 9:15pm EST. Once you miss a pick, it will start auto-drafting for you (the next highest Yahoo ranked player)...and will do it instantly until you tell it to stop by showing up. It WILL NOT pay attention to the positions...so you could end up with ALL KICKERS as Jeremy usually drafts anyways. You CAN PRE-RANK your players so that if you can't make it or can't stay for the whole draft it will use your order instead of Yahoo order.

Any questions, please PM or send me a message through the pool email system or post here.

I will double check with Jeremy on all payments, so please make sure you have paid.

Will send out some info on places that are good to do some player research...so again - check here or check emails.

Also - don't forget to join thesportsbook.com to get your $50 from Tom at Chip Split. My affiliate link is below:

    THESPORTSBOOK.COM

Again - good luck and see you at the draft!

There's no real deadline on the $50 except that if you don't get in touch with me about it before I win the pool I might be out of commission for a while, living it up. Fair warning.

Just thought I would post a couple of links to help out with your research.

2 sites I have found that are pretty awesome for football are:

    1) Fantasy Football, Baseball and Basketball - draft guide, news, projections, cheatsheets, depth charts and more. Rotoworld.com

    2) Owner's Edge NFL

I have sent an email out as well via the Yahoo service with this info.

Good luck in the pool and see everyone on Tuesday night!

It looks like we're good to go gentlemen. Everyone is paid up and the league is filled. As we do every year, I will fire up a new forum for Fantasy smack talk, trades, and general football talk.

Thanks J - I have marked everyone as paid over at Yahoo.

Now, we need to decide on the prizepool - there is $1600 to distribute - suggestions?

    I am thinking...

    Champ/1st - $1000

    Runner-up/2nd - $500

    3rd - $100

    Could also do $1000/$400/$200?

    Any other ideas?

How about we just give you the $1000 Corp since you'll probably win anyways, and the rest of us just play for the $600.

If you win again, I am going to be convinced that either you're a sports betting guru, or that Yahoo fantasy is rigged.

That is a great idea Jeremy...please send the money to my FT (corpfan1). I will keep my eyes out for it this afternoon.

Maybe I will parlay half of it on the Bears to win the Superbowl to see if I am really that good!?

    Thanks!

Default Need 5 more players for an online pool - $500 Entry Fee

    Ladies,

I am in another pool that I am hoping will fly...

The pool takes place Monday night at 10:30pm EST.

It is a 12-team league and we have 7 so far. It is pretty large - $500 entry fee, but first place is over $3500 and the software is pretty solid.

Here is the link to the league:

    Elite Fantasy Football League

The specific league I am referring to is called the IRON BOWL INFERNO.

    Thanks!
