Default [WTB] Help Restoring A Hacked Wordpress Site

I had a problem with a WP site being hacked and ended up taking it down, deleting all the files on the server and... well basically ignoring it.

There were e-mail backups of the database, and would now like to pay someone to help me get this site restored. Technology is not my strong point... so bascially I need someone just to crack on and get it done, from using the cache to find out what theme it was through to uploading the backup and tidying it all up to look presentable.... there were 120 odd posts and pages up at the point it was hacked.

Prefer someone active on the forums / known in the business to work with, I can either pay cash or with a link (the site was PR2, though it has been down a couple of months now).

If this sounds like you then shoot me a PM with a quote!

    Thanks, Mark

I've had this happen and my host actually restored for free using a backup previous to the hack, just a thought.

U have to be careful with a hacked site. Even the restore won't solve the problem.

Run the scanner plugin, check your functions file on your theme.

If you are Dreamhost or another host that installs a bazillion other themes other than the one u are using, delete them.

Check your timthumb.php is up to date as well as any other potential exploits.
