Can Bingo Websites get more Traffic via new Social Media Campaigns?

Every Bingo website I know is doing everything they can to rank higher in the search engines and get more traffic.

Social Media Strategies DONE RIGHT not only drive huge amounts of traffic but when built into a list can be used to repeatedly to drive traffic and promote JV's/Affiliates.

Some of the key strategies that I use are

a. Forum posts via Backlinks - 100's of them - they drive traffic even 2 months after their post date.

b. Article Submission Submitting articles to websites like eHow.com and ezine articles generate the highest amount of traffic - I use a VA (virtual assistant) to get this done as it takes time.

c. Twitter & FB Groups - I build my Twitter & FB group on a daily basis and it's something that's proved extremely successful.

d. You can also do PR and Blogs - they take time but a reliable VA can get the job done.

Hope this helps some of you with traffic. I personally use an individual (theargot@gmail.com) as a VA rather than a company as you get dedicated service from one individual long term.

I totally agree with you Pokerwriter, by using social media to effectively promote one's affiliate. Social media have grown beyond market expectations.

What was perceive to be just pure socializing turned out to be one of the most sought after tool over the net when it comes to business promotions. It is in direct contact with your audience and broadcast is wider in scope and immediate in delivery.

Not just the bingo sites but for all sites social media sites plays a great role to get more traffic. Now a days social media market is progressing more and more and I think soon it is going to achieve the top position.

I have a question. In Germany it is not possible to offer Pokergames or Roulette.

It is the same in your countries and is everybody knowing if it not allowed to send people from the own website to sites with pokergames or roulette?

To me it seems like forums work best for poker and casino as far as 'community building' and loyalty goes. For Bingo you're absolutely right - social media is a great tool for getting new players. Just look at the chat that goes on in bingo rooms and how much emphasis is placed on winners profiles and newsletters among CM (chat moderators). Social Media really is a personal type environment that bingo players flock too. If you can blend being trustworthy and personal without too much sales offers you'll do well. Some people even use facebook more than their traditional bingo portals and websites!

We have 1 affiliate at CyberBingo who does this very well and uses Twitter to build his lists and sends out tweets with new bonuses and winner annoucements.
