Default Freerolls, Reloads, Jackpots. What Works?

Over the past few months I've been looking at all sorts of player promotions for Bingo and sort of gauging a few metrics of each. I didn't even mention deposit bonuses above because we all know they're a must! Can you imagine promoting a site that claims, 'deposit $50 and play with $50 now' - it's just not going to happen.

However, working with CyberBingo this summer to be 'creative' I got see how a freeroll can work just as well for bingo as it does poker. Reload bonuses also tend to be great for guys on revenue share because it's always that late month spike in deposits. Jackpots, this to me is tricky. They're fun to promote, the big dollar payouts are flashy and it makes for good blogging/social media content. But the more I look and try to make sense of it the harder time I see a direct connection from Jackpots to more Affiliate Revenue? For a niche site, and those people directly looking for them (these are usually casino guys anyway) it's tough to really 'sell' a jackpot to players and expect them to sign up. I think it's more of a retention tool for the site to keep their players on longer.

I'd like to hear what you guys think also. When you're listing a new bingo room on your sites what are some of the things you feel MOST important to talk about?

Greg just take a look at what the giants of UK online bingo are and have been doing and you will not go wrong.

Take a look at the likes of Jackpotjoy and Foxy Bingo.

The phrase "free" works far better for bingo IMO than it does for poker or casino. All UK online bingo operators use the key phrase "free" but most of the time it relates to a deposit bonus not actually free money as many will at first think.

In casino and bingo, especially bingo, players are looking for having a fun time... some even for socializing, while chatting with other players. Since most of the players are women looking for some action time.. will go after anything related to freebies.. However, as it works for casino... players in bingo are looking to win the jackpots... Bingo players are sometimes difficult to convert, and they are not loyal players....Bingo players want to have fun, rather than casino or poker players who wants to make bunch of money of of their play...

I guess you don't work in the online bingo industry.

I have been trying to get into the head of a female bingo player since i started my bingo site. When i watch my sister or my mrs "google Search" it makes me cringe, im amazed i get any sign ups if there searching habits is anything to go by lol.

I think the chat features and value for there money is very important to most bingo players. I think they like to feel part of a "group", so if there are good value games and jackpots happening i think, it gives the site more stick!

There are plenty of good sites for playing bingo and providing some good discounts. The free term in bingo in most cases refers to the free cards worth a particular amount in most cases. As you do have to spend money for purchasing the cards after signing up, they provide some free cards at the time you sign up.
