Online Poker ED has received a few css inclusions! I submitted the site to a few CSS directories but was speculative of whether or not a poker site was likely get rejected even though it looks good for the niche.

There are alot of css galleries out there so i guess i should clean the site up even more and prepare to try to submit the site to alot more of them. Out of about 6 initial submissions, 3 of them were approved. I think if i snazz up some stuff i could probably get a higher approval rate for the second round.

Online Poker ED - CSS Pose

Online Poker ED - Hot CSS Design

Online Poker ED - Kreative Showcase Gallery

Online Poker ED - Best CSS Vault

This definitely could be encouraging to some of you members who want to make a great looking site, but didn't know how it could pay off in 2010

It could also be enlightening to members who have personal blogs etc. and haven't thought about the potential value or even aware of the presence of css galleries. There are literally hundreds of them and if a poker site can get in, i'd imagine that a personal / business blog would have a high approval rate.

Typically to be considered for a css directory, the site has to be completely tableless, CSS3 valid, and look clean / stylish.

Very nice, did you do the coding yourself?

Its a pretty basic joomla setup which i originally setup to sell on this forum to fund a new years trip but no one offered to buy it so i've just been playing with it off and on and getting some links. I think soon i'll be adding some more custom css classes for future room pages and such. i made the simple logo, banners and images via photoshop. The top banners should probably come down, but i'll wait till i submit to more css directories because they seem to ad a bit of visual interest. The site is probably better off from a reader standpoint without them, but it loses alot of luster when they're removed. I think when preparing to submit to css galleries you have to make sure the site is a lustered up as possible, then maybe change it up later.

i have a question for some of you members if you would be so kind. Does Online Poker ED have any stickiness to it at all right now? I'm wandering because i've started to get alot of exact search traffic for "Quick Guide To Online Poker". It has been ranked #1 for that for several months but has recently started to get alot of revisits from that term, even though i changed my page title which caused the site to drop for that term.

i'm asking because its hard for me to believe that some of the content is good enough to want to re-check out at this point. It seems like my slogan is more memorable than my "domain name play" if people are revisiting with it.
