The 10 Commandments for Tournament Poker

This is probably something I should have drummed up along time ago.
Will surely be thinking of more moses-themed poker articles in the future. The exodus from EV; 40 days in the micro-stakes desert. Who knows!
Enjoy! http://www.mosesbet.com/2010/02/03/t...for-mtt-poker/

Lol I love it! This is a unique angle and I think it will do well if you keep at it.Posted 02-02-2010 at 10:35 PM by wjb316

Very good... like the call to action at the end too (hope this is geo-targetted). Reubens and Ciaffone actually beat you to the idea in their 'Pot-Limit and No-limit Poker' book but hey - yours is much more succinct!

Absolutely not. Why would it be a level? It's a unique angle that breaks away from all the regurgitated crap you see everywhere. The advice is basic but I like the overall presentation and calls to action.Originally Posted by CasinoKev This has got to be a level... Posted 02-03-2010 at 01:34 PM by wjb316

I think its awesome - The MTT niche is very under developed and the content I've seen so far on this site is good and I too like the CTA there.
One small thing though - Is there a reason you went with a URL format that has a date rather than a more search friendly format? To me that is more of a blog format, and I know form speaking with you this will be a larger static site so to speak.Posted 02-03-2010 at 01:43 PM by Ridge

Good point. I noticed that as well - I'd get rid of the date portion of the URLsPosted 02-03-2010 at 03:30 PM by wjb316

I don't think there is a way to change your perma links without having to manually change all of your interlinking to match - but it'd still be worth it from an seo/user standpoint.
Speaking of interlinking, you have several great opportunities to do so on this article. For example, #5 begins with "As I discussed in a previous article" ... where is that article? I'd like a link please
It's a great article and you can easily come up with many more themed articles such as this. Good job!Posted 02-03-2010 at 04:22 PM by Matt Geer

I've added another section: Saturday Tournaments (The Sabbath!) - Saturday Tournaments (The Sabbath) | MTT Strategy Site
May decide to edit a few things at a later point (having a slight theme change courtesy of tom) but enjoy it for now!Posted 02-03-2010 at 06:51 PM by addz123
