I have had many people ask me in the past when I was going to open up my own blog. I have actually wanted to blog for quite a while, however the timing has never really been right. Recently though I have decided to change JeremyEnke.com from a real estate website to something new. A blog would seem to be a good fit.
Although real estate was super good to me as a part time gig over the years, the market sucks right now and it's not worth the headaches. Besides that, quite frankly I am making plenty of money as an affiliate and my time is better spent growing The PAW Affiliate Network. It was a fun ride while it lasted, but for now I am hanging up my "Gold Century 21 Jacket" until further notice.
My goal with this new blog is to write about a large spectrum of topics and not just poker affiliate issues.
Of course I will be writing about topics in the Poker Affiliate World, however I would also like to write about other business and even personal ventures. Through PAW I have always been able to publish news and write articles, or even make posts in the forums on several different topics. However when publishing anything on PAW, I always have to take care that this is an authority site in the poker affiliate industry and not my personal website. Therefore I need to sometimes censor my thoughts as well as be careful with what I say.
With this new blog, I also hope engage the readers a bit more and allow people to actually get to know "Jeremy Enke" a little bit better. I do know many of the old school poker affiliates very well. But for many of the newer affiliates I think I am seen as the "man behind the curtain" at PAW.
I am actually quite a normal person.....well maybe not, but you can read the blog and come to your own conclusions. My goal is to post every day in this blog. Although there is some adsense in the template, I am not really looking to make money with this site. More so I am really just looking forward to being able to share my thoughts on several different issues. I will try to keep the blog from being boring poker affiliate talk every single day. In fact, that would probably be healthy for me as lately I spend 12+ hours a day talking or typing about poker affiliate stuff.
I suppose another positive of me starting a blog is that now my friends, family, and neighbors will also realize that I don't just sit in my office and play online poker or watch porn all day. Although if I didn't need an income, playing online poker and watching porn all day doesn't sound like a bad idea. .......Anyways there's my opening post into the blog world. If there are any topics you want me to write about specifically don't hesitate to ask. Likewise I encourage you all to comment and if you have thoughts on any of the future posts.
