Last week we reported on how poker affiliates looking to diversify should consider attending the Affiliate Summit West 2009 conference taking place this January in Las Vegas.  If you need additional reasons to attend this event, read on.

One of the industries oldest and most respected gambling affiliate communities and resources, GPWA, will be hosting their event to coincide with Affiliate Summit West.  You can get all the details about the GPWA Las Vegas Conference by following the link.  I will give you a brief overview here however.

First of all, this is a great opportunity for affiliates to kill two birds with one stone by attending a general affiliate conference and a gaming affiliate conference at the same time.

On Tuesday January 13th, the GPWA Networking session will take place throughout the entire day in the Belize Room at The Rio.  As you would expect, cocktails and hors d'oeuveres will be provided.  Here you will have a chance to meet with affiliate programs, speakers, and fellow affiliates.

On Wednesday January 14th, the speaker sessions will begin and take place all day between 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, followed by another cocktail party between 6:00 - 8:00.

The lineup of sessions and topics for the GPWA Conference is shaping up quite nice.  And again, there are not many opportunities in our industry to attend a general affiliate conference as well as a gaming affiliate conference all in the same trip.  the GPWA Conference is free to attend, and GPWA members will receive a 10% discount for Affiliate Summit registration
