Where in the world has the first part of January went?  The last few weeks very well may have been the longest Holiday season on record.  It felt like the world literally shut down for 3-4 weeks!

Last week was most people's first week back to work on the 5th, including myself.  I apologize about taking a blog vacation myself.  I am in the midst of launching a few new products, and last week I was completely consumed by making the proper preparations.

One of these new products is the Virtual Affiliate Expo.  I have never been as excited about a product launch as I am this one.  With the recent global economic downturn, there has never been a better time in the marketplace for a product like this.  I will make a follow up about my thought process leading up to launching this product in a later post this week.

Let's see what else is new.  There is still plenty of drama brewing in the gambling affiliate industry.  Personally I am staying as far away from it as possible.  I really just want to run my business and make 2009 my best year ever.  Throughout my years in this industry, I have somehow stayed out of conflicts and overall drama.

As many people know, I have started my own business, Empire Marketing.  Aside from PAL and the Virtual Affiliate Expo, I have also been buying up lots of new portals.  Part of my overall business strategy is to build up a few new flagship sites, as well as revitalize several older portals I have.

So far 2009 is off to a great year, and I promise my blog vacation is officially over.  In return for taking so long to make a blog post in 2009, I will reward you all with a random youtube video of foreign girls playing soccer on a beach.  Cheers
