Hi,

I'm almost ready with one of my poker sites. I think a couple more weeks and I will launch my rakeback site ( rakeback again you might say, well yes , but with a twist ).

I have been involved with poker affiliate marketing for about 2 years now and have never launched a succesfull site or blog. Always bits and pieces yes , but never worthy enough to promote it.

The biggest problem first of all is - my English, i'm from Belgium and my first language is dutch. I'm sure you will understand everything i write down here but i lack the 'flow' of writing in English, so blogging or strategy writing is out of the question.

Second problem is my horrible artistic talent, I'm pretty good at html but my designs skills suck.

So its pretty hard to find something that will minimize these things and still have a good and hopefully succesfull website.
But i think i have found a couple things that will work for me.

I will try to update ones a week on this blog about my 'adventures' in the poker affiliate market.

PS: thanks to poker69 for his latest blog post. http://www.pokeraffiliatelistings.co...ffiliates.html
It gave me that extra boost to work that little bit harder. But than again , there are only 24 hours in a day.

Good luck on the new site. You should take advantage of knowing Dutch as a first language too. That market is blowing up.

    Good luck.

Why don't you do Dutch sites? I don't know the market, but it sounds like it would solve some of your problems..

A dutch .be rakeback site would be a possibility. I never really thought about it as a big market. But than again poker is becoming more popular in Belgium.

Also , as busy as i am. I would be more than happy to translate English to dutch content for people who help me out on my 'poker affiliate journey'. Good advice is woth more than money.

A small market can bring you plenty of money. If you can get 200 visitors a month and 5% convert on a 100$ CPA that is 1.000$ a month. That may be the most you can get out of that particular site, but you can use those 1.000$ to build another site in a bigger market.

If you can write good Dutch content targetting something like "casino jackpots" (just an example, you don't want to target that) you could easily be competing with just 1 or 2 other people, and they may not know what they are doing.
