Well here goes nothing, quick bio about myself. 23 year old, college dropout with more than enough credits for bachelors degree but changed my major way too many times. Just had my first son 6 (6 months old today) and is absolutely amazing. Been enthralled with the poker affiliate idea over the last 3 years, but never took any steps towards it until about two weeks ago. Since that time, I bought about 8 different domain names, hooked up with a developer, joined about 5 different affiliate programs, and had a site made for me with a wordpress template at EDITED FOR BITCHING lol. Still have absolutely no idea what I am doing, but i've been submitting my site to directories, and search engines, trying to post in various online forums and q & a's sections just to get my site out there. Spent around $50 buying links and traffic to my site to build up page rank, but the worst thing is not knowing if it's doing a lick of good at all. (by the way, wtf is a "lick of good", don't know if I've ever used the before in my life) This is my welcome not to everyone, and hope to finally find something here to make sense of all this.

A good idea when you start a site is to try to get content that is unique. What you have on the site right now is just a collection of content that is copied from other sites.

Delete your site, write your own content, stop being a thief and looking for a quick buck, then find a new industry.

word of advice. DO NOT post your site in poker forums. You will get instant bans every where and it will be a complete waste of your time.

Someone please edit out his link, assuming his content is stolen. I haven't looked, but if Mackan says it is stolen then it is.

haha wow, you guys sure act fast on things... there u go addz123 & prenut, happy now? Like I said I have no clue about this and am just starting to try and figure it all out. Eventually I'd like to try and build my own completely from scratch, my own script, code, and template. And yes my complete own content. The guy who set up for me just told me he'd fill it with auto updating stuff. Figured it's a place to start while I learn more about this.

Sorry mate, I meant don't bother posting in the major poker strategy forums like cardschat etc. Ofcourse it's ok to post your site here.

We've all tried spamming forums with links and I personally have about 5 forum accounts at cardschat and all the others.

Hey Welcome to PAL.
You will find alot of good information for new affiliates here at PAL, just use the search feature and ask in the forums.
Most members are pretty friendly, but is an open forum, so you will experience a few annoying assholes too.

GL with the site, and as it has already been said. You need to write your own content, or buy it. Duplicated content is a no no

You have a long road ahead of you if you want to become a serious affiliate
