My fellow PAL ballers,

[note: this post is long - but it might change your life]

You probably have used article marketing at some point. Maybe you submitted to ezines or to a couple of directories for a few extra links. You probably recognize the potential for building backlinks. In theory, all you need to do is submit to a bunch of directories.There are, however, three major drawbacks to large scale article marketing:

1/ The content of the articles is always the same
2/ The resource box / anchor text is always identical
3/ Submitting to dozens of directories is tedious at best

Now, 1/ and 2/ (and even 3/) aren't show stoppers by any stretch of the imagination. You will still get your links. We are also not implying that you will be penalized by Google. In fact, news content gets syndicated thousands of times all over the internet without any penalty.

But let's look at this through our "SEO lens".



1/ Duplicate content (again, doesn't imply penalty, but it's pretty obvious to Google)
2/ Same anchor text used to link back from hundreds of different IP locations. If this constitutes a high percentage of your link profile, it doesn't appear natural.
3/ Non automated submission system

I'll let you into a little secret. I have found a new service, still unheard of in the poker affiliating world, that addresses these SEO drawbacks in a creative and elegant way. Here's there theory behind it:

Google detects duplicate content but in what level of granularity ? Does it detect similar paragraphs, sentences, or keyword combinations ? This system relies on the assumption that the more granular the differences get, the lower the duplicate content percentages will be.

What if you could segment an article into little chunks, and rotate these little chunks before each submission. A patented algorithm would then be applied to further ensure uniqueness . I can't reveal more about this process by request of the creators.

But from a high level, the tool inputs articles that you write, and outputs a large quantity of unique content. And yes, remarkably, all the articles are readable and make sense. Please note that is very different from "spinning" articles. Such techniques don't really create unique content.

Here is how this tool addresses the three issues that we outlined earlier:

1/ Every article is unique
2/ You can create an infinite amount of resource boxes that get dynamically ported to your articles before submission. You can create as many anchor variations as you want.
You can also select a wide range of titles (hundreds if you want)
3/ Your article is submitted automatically to article directories and dozens of topical blogs.

Now let's use the "SEO lens" again:



1/ People are blogging about you everywhere on the interwebs, they all say different things !
2/ You have incredible anchor text variety and unique resource boxes
3/ You just need to click on a button to submit (really, I tried it)

Bottom line is that this technique is really sick. It allows you to dominate SEO and rank for hundreds of longtails at the click of a button through your article titles. On top of this, it will generate traffic that increases logarithmically. Obviously I would like to keep this information contained as I have had very good results from it.

However, please be warned that this is an expensive service. It costs roughly 70 dollars a month. So my advice for beginning affiliates is to build your own links manually.
