Default Calling Out PokerCodesOnline.com
You are redirecting illegal sites and domains to this site to rank for terms. In the process you are covering up your tracks, still using illegal tactics.

Remove these domains and sites.

Is this a joke? How can a site or a domain be "illegal"?

Aaah ok, now I see what you are saying. More like unethical, I guess. I don't know, this is one that's up for debate, I suppose. I know the owner of pokercodesonline.com but he hasn't been around for a long time.

What ever happened to contacting site owners directly, or reporting them to Google, hosting company, or affiliate program when appropriate?

Nick, if you're gonna call someone out, try not to be so cryptic

I have reported to PokerStars. They said they were acquiring one of the domains in question and then they let the affiliate redirect to another "not-allowed" domain which redirects to pokercodesonline.

What T&C's? - probably the ones that say we cant use pokerstars terms in domainss and the same ones that let them close affiliate accounts and acquire their website.

fwiw, I know for a fact that pokercodesonline.com does not make a dime from pokerstars with regards to their ranking for that term. The bonus code on that site is a dead giveaway for that. I'm not sure what you have accomplished by contacting PokerStars in this matter, except maybe waste a lot of your time tracking this down.

This thread seems unlike you. Not sure why you would call someone out like this, but I'll play this game if you want. You are receiving revenue directly from the proceeds of gambling operations that are considered illegal by my government. You are in clear violation of US federal law. You know were friends dude, I just don't get this thread.

Sorry if i'm a bit slow. Are you saying that this person is buying domains containing pokerstars, then redirecting them to his site in order to rank for the term pokerstars?

Then i really don't see much wrong with it, as the pokerstars domain will only show in a google search until google caches it and realises that it's redirected, then it'll disappear.

The person is redirecting the domains, to other websites until they get caught. Then they redirect to another website. So on and so on.

How does that work? Let's say that they own pokerstarsbonus .com and they redirect it to mypoker .com. Pokerstarsbonus automatically disappears from the serps. Where does the getting caught bit come in, and what benefit do they gain?

Using the example you stated.

They would use domain pokerstarsbonus.com, then build a site on it and get links, make a shitload of money. Then they would get caught and redirect it to pokerstarsmarketingcode.com and make a shitload of money until they got caught. Then they would redirect it to pokerstarsbonuscode.com etc etc etc. They have a ton of these sites going at the same time.

It's a good idea. Obviously this is against pokerstars rules, but if they don't really care, why not do it as well?

Man this is just a joke. You seriously have nothing better to do? THIS crap is what is costing you money, not these guys doing their thing.

No doubt you will attack me for posting my opinion again, but I don't care This is just embarrassing for you IMHO

Since you are calling people out, feel free to call me out of w.e-

I'm now calling you out! Show us where this person is costing you money, cause I bet they aren't in reality. Do you actually rank for pokerstars terms? Let's see it. I would bet you don't rank for Stars terms, and just because you are not making money doesn't mean its because PCO is using some 301's.

Actually you are wrong. I dominate the whole first page of a pokerstars term and one of these domains is now in top 2 positions.

Didn't think it would take you long to show up here. Yet again you are wrong.

I also know from the other PokerStars thread that I receive more CPAs than you. Shut your mouth.

EDIT: I have already shown this to a senior member here so no need to try and say I'm full of shit.

Like I said, reporting them to PokerStars was a waste of your time. You haven't done anything productive here and have, in fact, wasted your time. Think about it, if pokerstars and the owner of this site DO NOT have a business relationship, what can be done by contacting Pokerstars?

It definitely seems a little unlike you, at least what I know about you. I can see where the all-mighty dollar can affect people and their ability to reason but by your rational, everyone who ranks in the top ten for "online poker" should be pissed at Wikipedia for ranking in there, as well.

I respectfully disagree with you Mike. PokerStars have written to me saying they are acquiring the domains. Problem is, they let them redirect instead.

I don't see why everyone's attitude is so negative. I'm pointing out someone that is clearly breaking conditions that are forced upon all of us.

I think this whole thread is silly, and like I said I seriously doubt you make money at all, but ok. The thing is, people actually making money don't spend time tracking down crap like this.

So like I said, if you are bold enough to call out people, back it up. And if you are dominating a page of Stars terms, wtf are you worried about? Sounds like more whining and bitching about life not being "fair" which just shows you have yet to figure it all out.

LOL, that has been the standard procedure for a while. they either buy the domain themselves, or they allow the affiliate to 301? What's wrong with that?

Randy why don't you mind your own business. Perhaps you want to get involved because you are scared that i will reveal your domain as well, yes I know about it.

I love how you like to make every thread about you.

It always comes back to you telling everyone one of the following:

1. I make so much more money than you
2. Shut up and go earn some money and stop whinging
3. Randy Ray taught me everything I know
4. I work for a fortune 500 company
5. You are jealous of how good I am

Why don't you go back to hustling PAL members for 8k for your bullshit SEO services that are the result of being a mod here and telling everyone Randy Ray taught you everything you know.

It's about time you fucking manned up, give the dozen people that I personally know of that you owe links to (including me) and mind your own business.

Perhaps you could even spend more time analysing your competition at RakeUpdate.

Comes down to this - I know what you get up to and can see past yout deceptive games. Noone gives a shit about how you work 20 hours a day and are completely happy.

The only thing you are good at is self promotion. I will take my hat off to you for that.

But someone has to put you into your place. That person is me. Stop getting free shit by saying "im generous with links and will hook you up man." Give everyone their links. Stop hustling PAL members and my friends into paying 8k for SEO services. Don't give site reviews and then turn around and say they are obligated to your SEO services and kick up a stink when they tell you to piss off.

Everyone is sick of your shit man. Noone thinks you are as good or as successful as you claim to be. Stop twisting every thread into a self promotion tool.

Your behaviour over the PokerNations episode is a perfect example of your character. You are shady as fuck, now mind your own business.

If there was a conflict of interest in online gambling, you would be the marquee man.

You have fucked too many people over for too long. Your time is up.

I was reprimanded for suggesting I fight someone on here once, otherwise I'd agree.

LOL, that person was me

This was my last computer, some would say I get too angry from time to time. Competitive nature has its ups and downs.

What, you didn't finish your post off with something like, "this is what I'm going to make your face look like" or something along those lines?

LOL classic Randy. Love you man!

Ok so, once again if I have ever done SEO or charged for SEO here at PAL, please speak up. I know nobody will because its bullshit. I also do not think I'm any better than anyone here. I'm not rich, I'm not all knowing, and I've had many more failures than I have had winners.

The REAL story here is Nick and I use to get along. Then about 4-5 months ago he asked me for 5k for a Roulette domain, and I basically avoided him since then. I didn't know him well enough and it was just weird. I have the IM logs and if I need to post I will. So I guess since then I'm the devil??

Finally, I'm sick of the personal attacks and silly lies. We should be able to disagree without it turning into a giant cluster, its just silly. I will not put up with anymore personal attacks on myself or anyone else. That shit ends here and now. This is a business forum and it should be professional. Again, we should be able to disagree without it turning into personal attacks.

Anyway, I'm done with this thread. I've asked Jeremy and other mods to step in and handle it. I should have just stayed out of it I guess, as I knew me posting would turn into a cluster lol -

I will buy you a beer in exchange for a Long Island. In two years I will be old enough, unless of course it is outside of the US.

"Edit: Reading your thread, I think one thing is for sure. You spend way too much time thinking about me "

Point #5 - You are jealous of how good I am.

Randy, the difference than me and you in that I'm open and honest. Hell head over to my blog and find out my deepest, darkest secrets.

You can't disprove me, people trust me. You are a liar and a scammer.

I'm glad you brought up the domain issue. I even had a Skype convo an hour before you posted it:

[1:37:59 PM] Nick Haslem: now is the time he tries to discredit me by saying i dont make any money
[1:38:07 PM] Nick Haslem: and asked to borrow 1600 from him one time

Game time is up. I can see right through you.

That's right Randy, i asked to borrow $1600 from you one time for a Craps domain. Not 5k, and no it wasn't roulette. You were more than happy to lend me the money, however the payment I was waiting for came through and I no longer needed the short term loan. Your lies don't fly here anymore mate.

It's funny how you are now running away and claiming personal attacks. That's because you are involved in every single one. Funny that isn't it?

Please continue to try to disprove me and call me looney. Fact is, the majority agree with me. Trust and honesty are worth more than your hot air and deceit.

"the rant by Hazo is absolutely excellent." Just because you can fool some people, doesn't mean you can fool all.

Noone is jealous of you, noone thinks you are as good as you say you are and everyone has had enough of your shit.

These "personal attacks" only seem to happen when your self promotion goes horribly wrong.

Randy Ray - I laughed hard

Closing this thread - pointless - only going to cause everyone more grief than it can help.

If you disagree Jeremy, please re-open.

I'm not running man - I'll make you a deal -

Prove I've even done SEO for anyone on PAL or charged anyone on PAL money, or scammed anyone and I'll ban myself. Prove I'm some kind of scammer and I'll ban myself, leave PAL and never come back. The fact is you are spouting non-sense

I may be an asshole, but I'm not a scammer

Post some proof! Otherwise you are just spouting personal attacks

The fact is man, I have to think you are having some type of breakdown or something, you and I got along well until I didn't loan you money. Since then I'm some kind of scammer??

I try and help other affiliates, not being I'm all knowing but because other affiliates helped me. I keep an SEO blog and a business blog to post tips and things I've learned to help others. A lot of people seem to appreciate what I and other affiliate contribute. I'm truly sorry you do not, or think its some kind of ploy to scam people.

Again, everyone knows my main website - Felt, LooseChange, twilight gear, etc several mini sites - a few dozen in all, all are legit sites. - I have nothing to hide and I suspect you already know that.

Anyway, I'm truly sorry that you seem to have such issues with me. I honestly try and help because before I found Poker Affiliating I was broke as hell and not sure what I was goign to do with my life. Yeah I had a job, but not one I could see doing for the next 30 years. So I do feel an obligation to help others, and I DO NOT charge anyone lol, at least not small or new affiliates -

Anyway, we can agree to disagree and I'm going to leave this be. If you have some type of proof to backup me being a shady scammer, please post it. If you knwo someone I have "scammed" then have them post or something. If not then you need to understand that personal attacks against mods or any other PAL member will not be tolerated anymore.

If you do not want me or anyone else posting their opinion on something, then you don't need to post it. This is public forum and people have opinions so you will need to deal with that.

Cheers

Edit: Corp just saw you closed this, thanks. Will be my last post on this thread anyway.

No - Randy made it personal by attacking the guy who was just defending his own interests against someone who is clearly violating stars terms.

It was a BS response from Randy and obv. there is some history - so it becomes what it becomes.

Not sure what Randy was afraid of by letting the thread run, but he obv. attempted to shut all discussion down quickly.

Personally I'm a bit miffed that a guy who claims to be an SEO export wouldn't know that a 301 redirected site will just give the target site the same serp rank as the original, therefore the guy does benefit by 301 his violating site to a new violating site, as the original was an exact match keyword domain.

Lads chill out - K there is some issue here going on more than some guy doing blackhat stuff. Calling someone out like that is a lil on called for if you see them doing it contact em and ask/tell em to stop putting it in a forum like here creates a drama bomb.

Randy I know you were called out here but its kinda 50/50 banning the guy is not the answer pick up the phone and talk and sort your stuff out in private its not for us to see or hear about.. Just chill out have a beer and if you wanna get mad support Liverpool

Yeah I agree, although I'd liek to I didn't won't since I'm involved. Nobody is getting banned lol -

Ozpoker, I'm not afraid of anything with that thread, I just disgaree with calling out PAL members here like that. I know exactly what 301's can do, and it is what it is. I don't see the point in calling out one site over the others. Because there is thousands.

We have had this come up several times and it has been made clear that we do not want pal to be the place where people are called out for how they runt heir sites. short of stealing content, lack of payment, etc -

Rather I woudl like to see a debate on the effectiveness and ethics of doing something like that, and not targeting a specific site for it/

I conclude that this penis measuring contest has ended in a draw. You're both smaller than a barnacle. Now kiss and make up so we can get back to talking about better things. Like corpfan's avatar.

Hey Randy, I really like how you abused your mod status to re-open a thread so you could have the last word. And by the way, the operative word is "trying" to get SEO jobs.

Well anyway, here is your proof.

[2/11/2009 4:48:15 PM] xxxx: was it about the poker nations thing or something?
[2/11/2009 4:48:28 PM] Nick Haslem: I think the market place rules or something
[2/11/2009 4:48:35 PM] xxxxx: I don't really chat with him much and have only done business with him once
[2/11/2009 4:48:38 PM] Nick Haslem: i hadnt posted in 4 months so i hadnt seen either thread
[2/11/2009 4:49:40 PM] xxxxx: I really wouldn't worry about that guy since he is pretty big drama queen and talks like he is a really big affiliate when he isn't much bigger then us mainly due to the fact that his sites are just older
[2/11/2009 4:50:07 PM] Nick Haslem: what a dick head
[2/11/2009 4:50:14 PM] Nick Haslem: ive never had a fight with an affiliate aever
[2/11/2009 4:50:37 PM] xxxxx: ahh yah I had a dissagreement with him and now I won't do business with rake reduction due to that fact
[2/11/2009 4:50:37 PM] Nick Haslem: He still owes me links from WSOP 2008
[2/11/2009 4:50:48 PM] xxxxx: oh wow
[2/11/2009 4:50:51 PM] Nick Haslem: and a handful of others too
[2/11/2009 4:51:03 PM] xxxxx: just be careful with that guy since he will drag your name through the mud though
[2/11/2009 4:51:08 PM] Nick Haslem: I dnt care
[2/11/2009 4:51:17 PM] Nick Haslem: does he own rake reduction?
[2/11/2009 4:51:28 PM] xxxxx: nah they hired him to be the sub affiliate manager
[2/11/2009 4:51:35 PM] xxxxx: they are trying to do something like PAS
[2/11/2009 4:51:42 PM] Nick Haslem: ohb ok
[2/11/2009 4:52:13 PM] Nick Haslem: whats alll this "everyone is jealous of my success" shit
[2/11/2009 4:52:35 PM] xxxxx: yah I actually just used a programmer he suggested for some stuff on xxxx.com and then he sent me an seo services proposal for no reason and then got all pissed when I told him to stop contacting me ....lol
[2/11/2009 4:52:47 PM] xxxxx: yah if you read his blog posts they are mega ghey
[2/11/2009 4:53:09 PM] Nick Haslem: was the programmer mewsiclovr?
[2/11/2009 4:53:31 PM] xxxxx: "OMG my life is so blessed and I work 18 hours at my super awesome corporate job then I come home and work 16 hours on all my sites and it's so awesome I love it"..lol
[2/11/2009 4:53:38 PM] Nick Haslem: lol
[2/11/2009 4:53:39 PM] xxxxx: yah I think his name was eric
[2/11/2009 4:53:47 PM] Nick Haslem: that guy is his programmer
[2/11/2009 4:53:52 PM] Nick Haslem: and he tries to get work for him
[2/11/2009 4:53:54 PM] Nick Haslem: what a fuck wit
[2/11/2009 4:54:01 PM] xxxx: ahhh
[2/11/2009 4:54:06 PM] Nick Haslem: fairly sure might be on his payroll or somethin
[2/11/2009 4:54:57 PM] xxxx: yah it was just like a $50 job some simple shit then he sends me an seo proposal for like 8k and I'm like WTF then he told me all the time he spent analyzing my site and shit was really stupid
[2/11/2009 4:55:16 PM] xxxx: and then if you saw the blog post about him leaving poker nations was really childish

The person in this conversation wishes to remain anonymous.

Time for you to leave now Randy.

Crazy treads tonight, wouldn't normally reply to these, just wanted to say that I got 'Eric' a few weeks ago to do a small job and it was done in 40 mins, stand up guy even sent an invoice (which was a shock to me, with being used to working with you guys ) personally he is now my wp guru if I need anything.. Just wanted to put that in as you said his name Hazo.. Absolutely nothing against you as you seem to be also a stand up guy and im sure you have some reasons for posting tonight.

Randy give up with the whole discrediting thing, you look stupid. It's obvious it wasn't fabricated, I have the convo saved so i have no qualms showing it once I get permission.

I thought you would have learned your lesson about abusing you mod status, yet you did twice in the last hour.

I've said what I needed to say and am happy about it. My problem really? I've made that quite clear. There is no ulterior motive. No need to keep diverting attention away from yourself.

Thanks everyone for the support in IM chats and emails. Much appreciated.

+1 - I would agree entirely to this. I will also point out that being banned for arguing with a mod looks super abusive...AND...it looks more suspicious when he's immediately unbanned. Just horrible all around.

Also, I'd like to say that I feel there was nothing wrong with Hazo's original post. He had an issue and wanted to discuss it. He was attacked for just that, then banned for sticking up for himself. If this is a so called business forum, then how come he's attacked for bringing up business related topics? Regardless of how you feel about the topic, it's still related to this industry which is, wow, business related.

Overall, it's pretty fucking sad that for every 1 decent thread that's created you have to wade through 3-4 worthless ones filled with this childish shit before you can read it. This place just continues to decrease in value for people who are truly looking to succeed in this business.

Anyway, enough of my rant - although I've never talked to Hazo before, I just wanted to say I agree with him 100%. It's nice to see someone stand up and speak their mind.

And as a result of what I've seen tonight and over the last couple months, I'm done here at PAL. I have better places to spend my time. If anyone needs me, they can reach me by email/IM.

Lol - self promotion at its best - even pretended to not know what a major competitors brand was! As if any real businessman wouldn't immediately know who their competitors were.

When I spoke about a select group of hype and marketing here at PAL in a thread here not long ago - i think between the thread above and cardspike and a few other threads and brands you see the trend.

Its fine for me coz I'm not an idiot and I don't hold any of you on a pedestal so i don't get sucked in by the constant - "oh this guy is brilliant" - "this guys is an expert" - bs that goes one here and at PAP previously.

But newbies do - and as a newbie once who almost got sucked in to it - I see the danger.

There's a couple of guys on here - who as affiliate managers and affiliate service providers have gone from failure to failure and yet get pumped up like there's no tomorrow. I'm not saying they are paid posts, but they might as well be.

Maybe - and I think this is the biggest part of it - it is a cultural divide - there seems to be a US theme on everything and you guys always need to tell us how good you are. It doesn't wash with the rest of the world and its something you might want to take on board if you trying to be world wide forum.

I'm not sure what causes it - its some kind of inert need to be acknowledged as an expert or specialist - but the take home message is that doesn't happen in the rest of the world and it is strongly off putting for the rest of us.

I don't expect any support for my point of view from most of you - but I'm sure my views resonate with the "silent minority".

BTW - I have just reminded myself some 30 minutes after this post about having a similar conversation with another non US affiliate some 2 years ago about PAP and hype and geocentricity.

Just goes to show the more things change - the more they stay the same.

j/k bud

I'm going to attempt to hijack this drama again and get you guys focused on the major issue of the day. Not to belittle any of the issues/problems discussed in this thread of course. I just think PSP deserves everyone's rants until they reverse this ridiculous decision. I suppose I'm just still steaming over it and reading other people's complaints about it makes me feel a little better. I'll let you guys have at it from here on out though.

I'm not gonna go into this whole Randy thing as I have never really paid attention to him. But I agree about the US thing. One of the funniest things (and it seems like these are always US affiliates) in this business is that the people who have had moderate success, but are not in reality all that good, always want to give the imperssion that they are some super smart god-like affiliates and rest of us are fools. What makes this funny is that the people who are actually succesfull never seem to make a big number about it and tell everyone how good they are.

Yea this is not even the thread in entirety stuff has been removed so imo post it all or none of it, not half of it. There isn't anything we don't already know in any of the threads, but having portions of it makes no sense.
