Hey everyone, this is my first blog and just something for me to look back on next year.

Despite being around the forums for a few years I’ve been lazy as hell. Wasting time playing Xbox thinking money will come etc. It’s only really the past month which I have gave myself a kick in the ass and started focusing.

Like a lot of people I started out with a few domains/sites but I’ve now limited myself to just 2 sites along with a few mini-sites. I’ve also realised that I was just throwing pages up to make up numbers and have a big site when actually that meant I lost focus of quality. I’ve always been one for quality over quantity so I’m going back to that starting today and will be re-writing almost every page on my main site.

Personal life

The past three years have been extremely difficult for me. The following has happened one after another:

• My gran died
• My uncle died
• My cousin committed suicide
• And most recently my aunt died
• My dad had a cancer scare but thankfully got the all-clear

As most of you know I’ve been battling depression because of it, but feel like I’ve gotten on top of it now. Let’s face it, I’m 20-years old with great parents and I’m healthy – lots of people in the world aren’t that fortunate.

2011

2011 is going to revolve around the following things for me:

• Poker Affiliating
• Gym
• Having more fun – fishing, hanging out with friends, get out more at weekends

The majority of my attention is going to be on my main site which is getting redesigned soon by an awesome designer here on PAL – JohnG. This is the first time I’ve invested in a custom wordpress theme so very excited to see it once completed but after seeing John’s previous designs I have no doubt it will look sick and convert well.

I’ve got a few goals which I would rather keep to myself for 2011 but one of them is to write at least 500 pages of solid content and to get to page 1 of Google for my main keyword.

Shout-outs

SirTiner – Johannes helped me SO much when I first got interested in affiliating. If it wasn’t for his help I would definitely have given up and would be long gone. He got me all set up on my very first site and after that he converted an html site to wordpress for me and has done lots of other stuff! Seriously one of the most generous people I’ve never met...

Wes (wjb316) – Wes always motivates me. When you feel like packing it in there is no-one better to chat to who will drive you on. He is a great guy who takes pride in publishing excellent articles and works very hard.

Anyway that’s pretty much it if I haven’t bored you to sleep by now. I doubt I will be making a blog again until this time next year. I’ve got 120 pages to re-write because they are way below par and want it all done by January 1st so back to work I go!
