Default How do you decide which casinos to promote?

As a poker affiliate thinking about making the step over to casino, I'm aware that there seems to be a much larger number of casinos available to promote than you tend to find in the poker market.

With such a choice out there, I'd be interested to know how people decide who to promote ... or perhaps even make some recommendations of good programs that I could get involved with while I learn more about the vertical.

    Cheers

Great question I have the same one - there is hundreds of casinos to promote. I'm going to start slow myself and try and build a base at "cross-vertical" sites myself, meaning sites that offer both poker and casino.

Of course I will add a few reputable programs as well, but seems like from a retention standpoint rooms offering "everything" will do better for us in the longrun.

Anyone disagree with that line of thinking?

Im all new to promoting casinos but with the few i have promoted so far i would def recommend Betsafe if you are targetting players outside of US. They have provided great support, has converted good for me and my am has been very helpful. They are a NetEnt casino which i find great as there is no download and you can also host many casino games directly on your website for your players to try out. I also look forward to more experienced affiliates to chime in

And again Stiankr I would note they are a program you can cross promote in sports/poker/casino sites to build a "base".

I really don't know if that's a good strategy or not, but seems logical for us new casino affiliates.

Yeah, thats also how i first got excited about the casino business. One of my poker players started making me $1K+ a month on casino side games I guess im not the only one I just thought that is awesome for just 1 player. I must agree that cross promoting might be a great idea and would like some of the other experienced affilates to join the discussion.

I'd check www.affiliateguarddog.com to make sure the casino program has affiliate friendly terms. After that you don't want to do trial and error so it helps to know what other casino affiliates are promoting. If Engineer posts on here he could probably give you a list of partners he works with. I don't think our own lists would be much different.

The important things you need to know for deciding are; treat players and affiliates properly, have good terms for affiliates which include basics like no negative carryover, convert and retain players well, and have a good history of paying players and affiliates. The veteran casino affiliates have a good idea of what programs are good. My short list is:

    Casinocoins.com
    fortuneaffiliates.com
    starpartner.com
    brightshare.com
    playshare.com
    32redaffiliates.com
slotland.com (not sure of URL for affiliates)
    casinorewards.com
    slotocash.com
    cwcaffiliates.com (clubworld group)

I don't have many playtechs on this list and the top one I'd suggest is
    bet365.com

John, I really need to catch up with you sometime and discuss some of my plans with you - I'm a month out from launch but if you find time do drop your skype info via PM.

I'll naturally be including your program as it's obvious I'm dealing with a quality partner.

    Default My list

    My list

TowerGaming - ha greg I gave you two referrals in one day ...think I am due for MGR increase

Cplanet - Ben is awesome to work with

    Affiliate Club - Chris rocks!

Referback - Great to work with but no longer accepting US players.

We have mainly stuck with the ones we felt would be a safe bet and so far I am pleased with them. While some convert better than others (based on your targeted audience) I like the groups we are with

Trial and error always worked well for me, along with recommendations from other people in the industry. Casino Coins is good, so is C-Planet. Best Casino Partner is good too, and Referback. Bodog too.
