I would say that the major sportsbooks have such strong branding there; most people know of: Ladbrokes, William Hill, ToteSport and a few more. Last time I was in London (end of November) I saw plenty of InterCasino banners on buses and taxis. Before that it's quite common to still see Party Poker and 888 on certain media (magazines and billboards).
Anyone else based outside the UK and see branding being done in the traditional markets?

I wouldn't consider ToteSport as a strong brand - at least in Germany where that means dead sport. Not that good
My input to the OPs question:
Ladbrokes, Will Hill, 365Bet, VCBet, 888, Mansion and I'm sure there are a few others.
Slotspielen.com - German slot site
PimpMyBankroll
Poker Test Berichte
Selling unique German strategy content for $ 0,03/word - German translations: $ 0,04/word
What comes to mind for me is Betsson, Unibet and Bet24. They all advertise on television in Norway and have done so for quite some time.
Ladbrokes and William Hill betting shops are everywhere on UK highstreets, so they would be a familair name for everyone. You see Coral and ToteSport around here and there, but they do not have as much of a presence as the other two.
On TV you see a fair number of ads for Betfair and Bet365. It's all mainly sportsbetting though, as I rarely (if ever) see any Casinos advertised on TV. But anyway, those two brands would be familiar.
I wouldn't have known much about InterCasino or VC Casino if I wasn't a gambling affiliate though. They may have more of a presence in major cities but I wouldn't have been aware of them otherwise.
Nedplay.com is also advertising on tv but only in holland.
The casino is available in dutch and english.
