Promoting Casino Tournaments

Hey Guys, here is something I know to be a big draw right now on several sites - Casino Tournaments. Some of the largest casino affiliates out there are promoting these on their sites and say they are the most trafficked parts of the site. I was pretty surprised but did some investigating and it's a really true. It's a good idea for a niche site or an awesome addition to your existing portals.

I can understand how poker tournaments work? But how can you have something like a slots tournament, when slots are primarily designed just for one person ...

The concept is pretty simple really. Similar to a poker tournament the player with all the chips at the end wins; in a slots tournament there is a time limit where the player with the MOST cash at the end wins. Unlike poker you don't have to have it all; just the most.

When a poker player is at an SNG he is guaranteed to win (or loose) only a certain amount of money. For slots players this is the same. It's a way to manage a bankroll and have some fun with a chance at winning big! Ultra popular.

I have to agree with Greg, there's a huge market out there for these type of tournaments and they tend to attract a lot of high roller players also.

Some important points I'd like to remind you about tournament players are:

-Tournament play does not cannibalize regular casino play
-Players who are in tournaments, simultaneously will play casino games
-Retention level is increased by almost 60% on those who play tournaments regularly
-Over 80% of top winners will play their tournament winnings in the casino
-The average tournament player will re-buy 2.5 times per tournament.

Especially now with sites offering so many huge freerolls you should be able to drive tonnes of traffic to casino sites offering slot tournaments.
