May also be because of the USA laws, this frightens some people having their host in the USA and operating a gambling site

That said my hosts are in the USA and i have gambling sites, not something that bothers me.

I have heard good things about uk2.net, they have a testimonial on their dedicated page from a well respected UK gambling portal and that would encourage me to use them if i ever decide to go with UK Hosting.

But i am more than happy with my USA hosts
