    Default Casino Support

    I tested a casino the other day and found the support team to be quite intrusive, over baring and just a complete pain in the ass. They hit me up about 4 times before I made my deposit and continued to bother me after the fact while I was playing a game.

    So I thought maybe this is a one time occurance...another day I logged in and didnt even get to make a deposit before they were on me about how much of a bonus I can get, and if I deposit more after that how much I can get then. I was so sick of it I refused to deposit and told her she blew the sale by bugging me.

    I asked my AM if this is norm for their properties and he said players like this kind of stuff. Is he right?

    This was like being in a store where the salesman is on commission and they literally jump each other for the sale and drive the customer crazy. All I wanted to do was tell the support to piss off.

    We do this kind of stuff at bet365, but without being intrusive.
    Our guys also tend to give advice on the promos which the player can enjoy.

    Being bothered 4 times is definitely repulsive, but being done the right way it definitely helps conversion

    Some actually call you on the phone as soon as you sign up. That is a bit much. Many players don't want that.

    I agree Geof, it can be a good thing when done right and we all want conversions. Good to know where that fine line is so as not to piss off the players.
