I received this as a player. This is what to watch out for at Rivals. They will give you a freebie but you may as well be playing with fun money:

Get $17 free. If you meet the playthrough and minimum cashout requirements, you may be required to make a small deposit in order to verify your account information. No additional wagering will apply. The small deposit does not apply to any minimum cashout requirements.


Maximum 1 bonus per household/computer/person. Minimum deposit required to withdraw (for fraud prevention)
25x bonus playthrough ($425)
Playthrough is the amount that must be wagered (put at risk) before you may cashout.


Unless otherwise stated, 1 credit wagered in a game counts as 1 credit toward playthrough requirements. 2x minimum cashout
You may only cashout amounts greater than your deposit plus 2 times the bonus. Additional deposits, reversals, bonuses or comp point redemptions do not count towards this minimum cashout restriction.


The maximum you may withdraw is 34
A maximum cashout applies. For example, if you receive a $10 bonus and the maximum cashout is 10x the bonus your maximum cashout is $100. Any balance remaining after your cashout will be removed from your account.


Any funds over the maximum cashable amount will be removed automatically on cashout.

This was at Absolute Slots. Not all promotions are like this of course. The key with Rivals as a player is to certainly read. At least they make it clear when you accept the terms.

I remember signing up to a casino a few years back when I started playing poker. I think it was allslots or something like that. Took the free bonus offer and won on it. Was so pissed when I found out I didnt really win anything.

Personally with all the terms I usually opt not to take a bonus at all. I was a little annoyed with Titan Casino that I didnt get this option and it was automatically applied to my account.

This is Titan's terms

In the interest of fair gaming, in order to cash out any amount of money you must wager your bonus plus deposit at least forty (40) times per monthly bonus. If you withdraw before having reached the minimum wagering requirements, your bonus and winnings will be void.

I deposited $100 so I need to wager $8000 before the account qualifiers. That is one hell of a rollover rate to get your money and say if I did win, I would have gone broke trying to get it.

well what gets me is the wording " In the interest of fair gaming" how the hell is that fair. The house wins. the majority of players will lose, so basically they are forcing to lock players winnings, which IMO is just down right dirty

This is probably the poorest term I have seen at Rivals. I am a depositer, and even if I wasn't it is insulting. Playthrough is 25x and then you can only cash out $34. Insulting.

Most Rivals will not require a maximum cashout but most will with a free chip. Even so, cashout maximums are more reasonable, like 100 or 200. So if players don't read these terms and then try to cash out the exciting 1000 they won they will be sorely disappointed.

This type of bonus is bogus. May as well call it fun money. Not Fair Absolute!

Wow mo I didnt even see that even though you highlighted it in red for us (sometimes takes me longer to get things ...thats crazy and a sure fire way for you to lose trust from that player.

That is horrible, not to mention there games seem to pay very low when you do win, seems impossible for any player to even be able to find that cashout button.
Im wondering why I see many downloads and 0 depositors. Not sure if Im going to continue with promoting Rivals.

I won't play with a deposit bonus that has a max cash out. Freebies would be much better if they were a striaght 5x or 10x accross the board as Rak suggested. May make players happier and help with those conversions.
