convert players on Sports Forums?

Hello Everyone.

I tried my hand at creating a few poker sites, but found I didn't have the passion to keep them up.

I've started a few sports forums. Is it possible to get sign-ups on non-poker/casino related sites?

I just created BigTenForum.com and bought amSportsTalk.com.

One way to get signups is to host a tournament or something once you've established a nice, tight nit, community. This has worked for me in the past and we've actually turned it into a weekly cash game online too.

I think I"m going to start advertising on amSportsTalk.com. I boght the site and all the ads there are still from the previous owner. I"m going to scale down.

I do have a sportsbook forum where you can wager forum bucks, but I think I should add a place to really sports bet.
