Default Reviews of my 1st casino site appreciated

    Biggest Casino Bonuses

    What do you think?

This is a pretty straightforward mini-site. You can probably guess who I'm trying to target by the domain name alone.

Someone else designed the site for me and I love the way it looks.

What kind of content would you like to see me add?

Don't be afraid to hurt my feelings.

    Thanks in advance.

*I'm not really a Casino affiliate, but this is my first impression of the site*

I'd change that top content box up a little on the homepage. As a passing visitor I'm not really interested in reading 4 paragraphs of text. I'd take most of the writing out and only include the key stuff. Then throw in something along the lines of:
    • Big bullet points outlining the key features of the site.
    • An image that is very much descriptive of the site.
    • A few links pointing me in the right direction (links to stuff that a visitor will likely be searching for)
    • All of the above.

Other than that I think that's an awesome mini-site (from a poker affiliate's perspective!). It's just that 4 big chunks of text are not very appealing. I want you to spoon feed me exactly what the site is about, what I can expect from it and where to go from the homepage without any effort on my part.

Well you know I like it...lol.

What PokerBank said makes sense. I would put a list of recent topics in your left sidebar instead of the body. Replace those list of articles with maybe a featured bonus and image of the site or bonus info.

As for the top keep the relevant text as it is good for keywords, but add some bullet points and links to other content too.

Also add an h1 tag to your top content.

Thanks a lot for the input so far everyone.

I will implement all of your suggestions.

And real quick, I have to give some props to Tom: I had no idea how sick Tom's design skills were until I saw the final look. His WP backend is just as impressive. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Yeah, I agree with TPB - I think you can cut a lot of the introductory text. Maybe just have two or three short keyword rich paragraphs to help with your SEO - I have to admit that despite having a look around your site for a while, I still haven't brought myself to read those five paragaphs.

Other than that, my gut says to get rid of the 'Links' and 'About' sections from the main menu. If you're going to have pages like these, put the link to it in the footer somewhere rather than taking up valuable space on the main menu. You can use that for better quality content which is more likely to convert (strategy articles, upcoming tournaments, previous winners etc.)

Other than that, it looks good. Maybe you could put a banner or something in the top right hand corner? It's looking a bit bare at the moment ...

i'd move the chart you have that lists the casino bonuses offered above the fold. Dump the picture of the dice and chips and move that chart up after the first paragraph.

No one is going to read any of the text you have there at the top... they will click through on your chart through if they see something that interests them.

I think you can improve your reviews by making a list with the pros and cons of the casino in question, so the visitor can get an idea about what it is all about without reading the review.

I just skimmed the reviews, but I didn't see anything negative, which I think take a bit away from their credibility.

I can't really make sense of this sentence:
    Biggest Casino Bonuses Rushmore Casino
If you own a MAC computer, the no-download option is a huge blessing because it works with MAC computers too. All you have to have is your PC and a connection to the internet and you can be up and going in no time.
I would use a different font for the word "biggest" in the logo, and save it again without that much compression. You should probably save it as PNG instead of JPEG.

Just out of interest, why do you suggest PNG logos rather than JPG's? Is it purely down to file size and loading times?
