CAL Resources Poll

Cal is a resource for casino affiliates. However, there is not much interaction. Let's change this!

i think quality over quantity, so if its quiet here and there but has good solid discussion at times i'm more than happy .

Every community takes a little time and the right people to be successful. PAL had a nice base of members and it's own style many years ago. It's really what makes it the most influential forum in the gaming space for affiliates. Here at CAL what we really need is more of the same. There are some awesome mods here and some really smart/successful members. I'll make a commitment to spending more time here at CAL over the next few weeks and throw everything that comes to mind marketing wise as a thread!

Here is something that encouraged me today. A new member came here to CAL and posted a question on becoming a new affiliate. He received so much good advice and tips that it really surprised me. There is a unique feel to CAL/PAL that I think is special. There is a comraderie here that I really admire.

I have a suggestion. Besides the general areas, perhaps more catagorized forums would be helpful...

Payment Forum,
- who paid when
- who has payment issues
- payment methods
- slow payers
- chargebacks and carryovers

Affiliate Program Updates Forum,
- who's running incentives (I can think of 3 right now)
- who changed their terms, for better or worse
- software issues
- changing banners, grrrrr
- contact issues
- progressive issues

That's a couple I can think of. Just a thought?

There should be a forum where AM'S can post specials there running.

So just say a casino launches new games or a new bonus, they can post it in there. Or if there running an affiliate contest, or anything they want to let us know about there casinos, even if it is spam.

Yeah there is a Spotlight Program where people are supposed to do something special for their week. It's a nice way to have 4 really good offers each month and not get slammed with spam as a member. Hopefully more on that will come.

I'd love to see some more activity in this forum. I've just started my first casino sites and found very little information in the CAL forum. DealerDan just started the casinoaffiliatebible and I would love to see that kind of information available here. For casino noobs like myself it would be great to see a list of casinos that dotn have negative carryover (actually the list mojo has above is perfect). I think having a good amount of noob resources may even help the veterans out!
