No Deposit or Matched Bonus?

As affiliates for numerous and varied Casinos what do you find attracts the most players through your links…. the offer of a no deposit bonus or matched deposit bonuses?

Do you find that the conversion from click through to active player is lowered when a no deposit bonus is available? Or does it all depend on the type of players that come to your site?

Would you be more inclined to sign up to an affiliate program if they offered both types of bonuses?

As a new affiliate executive I would be very grateful for your input on this matter.

Myself I dont like NDP only because you get soooo many people who take the money and run. What I would like to see is an attractive offer, and a slick landing page when the player clicks through. You can offer a 10,000 bonus or $50 free but if the landing page stinks the user may not get into the casino. Following the landing page - I would like to see more casinos use their customer support team. Don't bombard the user but the first time they login to the casino the support team should hit them up via live chat and say Hi my name is Mike or whatever. I'm your customer support representative today. If you have any questions at all please feel free to contact me and I'd be happy to assist you.

To make it even more personal the customer support rep;s should have the user's name so they can greet them personally. I think things like that go along way.

Now what not to do - Dont push to deposit everytime they login to the software. That's a tad annoying

Anyway just some things I think would work well. I dont think it's all about bonuses and what users see on our landing pages. Thats only part of the equation. It's what comes after they click

We find offer both works best but nothing crazy on n/d bonus $20 is sufficient for a player to try out a new casino .The bonus hunters tend to look for the largest first .We have excellent conversions with microgaming free spins and some whales sign up for them too.It all depends on your traffic and they keywords if they will convert or not.I would like to see betfair have more .gif banners because we host all our own.The banner selection is very poor compared to other programs.
