Default DoylesRoom Pros Surpass $1 Million at World Series of Poker

Brunson 10, longtime pros and potential members of the DoylesRoom prove to be extreme force in Las Vegas leading up to the Main Event

Las Vegas, Nevada – June 29, 2010 – With less than one week until the start of the 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event, the pros at DoylesRoom.com are giving the field of thousands of online poker players expected to enter the tournament many reasons to fear them. As of Tuesday, June 29, DoylesRoom pros have earned $1,064,906 at the WSOP. The million-dollar total includes tournament cashes by Brunson 10 members, Brunson 10 contenders and longtime DoylesRoom pros.

A big portion of the $1 million belongs to DoylesRoom pro Allen Kessler who has had a sensational run in Las Vegas over the last few weeks, cashing in seven separate events to earn $370,374. Hoyt Corkins has cashed in three events for over $11,000 and Todd Brunson earned over $26,292 in two WSOP events.

Members of The Brunson 10, Doyle Brunson’s team of elite legends-in-the-making, are demonstrating why they’ve earned a spot on the team. All six members have cashed at the World Series, together winning over $442,000. Amit Makhija has earned $208,148 in two events, Dani Stern has cashed for $161,934 and Chris Moorman has earned $46,470 in two events. Zach Clark was also a double winner, cashing for $22,568 in two separate events. Alex Kamberis earned $1,240 and Steve Gross has so far collected $3,404 at the WSOP.

Finally, potential Brunson 10 members have won $214,44. While it’s true that every cash by poker players is important, each cash by David Sands, Faraz Jaka, Daniel Kelly and Michael Martin is perhaps even more crucial. The four online poker players are competing at this year’s World Series of Poker for the seventh spot on Doyle Brunson’s team of legends-in-the-making. Each player is awarded points every time they cash in a World Series of Poker event. The player with the most points at the end of the WSOP will be The Brunson 10’s next member.
