Slotland Redesign - much overdue but nice

Hey Guys, this week we had Slotland.com come on PAL and I personally have been doing some work with them over the past month. I really the brand and the people there know this industry. They've been around since 98' and take US players on their own software platform (always a good thing). Plus they don't have any skins on the network they don't own (also might be a good thing).

Anyway for everyone here who's seen them before you know they site was massively outdated! I mean the games were good but conversions suffered from the 'This Site Made with Notepad' theme lol.

Anyways, check the new design out. It's kick ass and should work really well for North American players. We did a review of the program also: here

This page is pretty messed up when you load it for the first time. (image attached). If I refresh it displays fine, but if I clear my cache and load it as a first time visitor it's always messed up

In my opinion it sort of blends together a bit too much which kills the Join Now buttons visibility a bit.

Lots of black space at the bottom of the page which is unused.

To me the header is a little squashed and the CTA's don't stand out enough - it's like they have been incorporated to well into the design.

I think if you tracked clicks on this page you'd see visitors a little confused.

I am seeing the same stuff (it got worse after refreshing).. they should probably test these things before going live.

Hey Guys, this is why PAL is such a great forum - thank you for the feedback! I agree with a lot of the suggestions above. The concern of 'Call to Action' here is one I think has some merit. The color scheme seems to be taking away from the call a little. I think the button and placement are fine, and the Live Chat and Jackpots are nice - but there might be room to improve. I am going to pass that along.
Also - FF users please try and load the site again. Seems to be working fine now. Most gamblers still use IE and that seems cool now as well.

I can say that the conversions are really improved already and it seems that more and more people are trusting the site. They've been around a long time and have a stellar track record paying players and affiliates. However, some newer players were turned off from the design elements. The new design has helped that for sure.

Slotland is really affiliate focused now, which I really like. Being able to accept US play and offering good options for them to deposit is getting harder to find for affiliates. If you're interested in working with them please shoot me a PM here. They're offering a limited number of very high rev share deals for select PAL members. So, if you're looking to add a new US casino this might be a good choice for your site.

It does not look like it's part of the original site, there's not a single CTA anywhere and it's littered with links back to the homepage.

Loads of affiliate sites linked to from the casino...links go direct to their slotland landing pages trying to get people to signup. Obv I don't promote and sorry if I'm nit picking here, but I wouldn't want to knowing that someone may click those links and find another offer elsewhere. Looks like its all of the no download games that link out to affiliate sites.

I think the Slotland homepage is a huge improvement on their old homepage.

By the looks of it, they need to tidy up the other pages but this is a great step in the right direction from Slotland.

Hi all,

Thanks for posting all the error screens! There were some problems with different browsers (mainly the game selector was acting weird), we applied a bunch of different fixes, hopefully Slotland will appear ok to everyone now. We keep testing on dozens of different machines/browsers but if you still find a bug, please update us (let us know what browser you use so we can simulate the error and fix it).

More pages are in the new design now, and we continue working on the rest of the site. Unfortunately, it takes a coule weeks as the old page needs to be rewritten completely.
