Default How much is the average craps player worth?

Don't really know too much about craps. I don't even know the full rules tbh, but how much is the average player worth from an affiliates side? Are craps players big bettors? Do they tend to win/lose more than the average roulette or blackjack player? Is online craps even that popular compared to other games? Any info is appreciated.

    Thanks
    Rob

No. I don't know of any affiliate program that breaks down reporting to that level.

I have programs that specify a generic breakdown - slots - blackjack - table games - sports etc - but I've yet to find a program that tells me that player X spent $$$ on craps this month.

Thanks for the reply Gooner. Yeah, I was hoping that someone who had a site solely dedicated to craps could tell me if the player value was any good. Or maybe even someone who plays/has played craps regularly. I know that the odds in craps are supposed to be pretty good on certain bets but I know nothing about if high rollers play it etc. Thanks.

    Wink

As a rough estimate, I would say slots players are the highest value, followed by the trio of : blackjack, roulette & video poker in no particular order.... Craps gets significantly less traffic than any of the above, and player value is probably even lower. I know someone who specialized in that niche and his player values were disappointedly medium to low. I don't think there are a lot of craps whales, but maybe I'm wrong.

Craps players at some casinos can go through big money very quickly especially high rollers. The same holds true for other table games but it is too tough to say if craps as a niche is worth a certain amount. It would certainly be less competitive than slots so it might be worth the effort if you can get the volume.

PM Hazo on here he might be able to help.

Slots are well known to be the most profitable game in terms of average player value, but there are high value players across all casino games, just luck of the draw I guess. I thought 3 card poker would have a very high player value, but the average numbers I've seen in that niche have been terribad.

Affiliate Edge offers a report for revenue by game. It doesn't give the you the $ but will break it down by % of total net win per game, % of total bets, and % of total games. Pretty good for finding out which games they keep playing and those they don't like.

I think the problem is that blackjack and slots are a lot easier a crossover to online gambling than craps where players are really drawn to the allure of them throwing the dice.
