    Default Canadian casinos

    Hey guys,

I am adding a few Canadian casino options to a few of my sites and was wondering what you guys thought were the best Canadian casino sites to promote?

I understand BCP and a few more aren't available in Canada and whether its true or not, I heard some casinos are Canadian friendly but have really poor processing for the players?

Any info would be great lads, thanks.

Bodog's got good processing options for Canadian players so you might want to check them out.

Have a look at Focalclick (<-- affiliate link) too. I've been seeing some good figures from Omni Casino recently. They allow Canadian players to play in CAD and have got country-specific landing pages which seem to have helped with conversions.

Unless Bodog changed their payments they only accept CC and UseMyBank - If thats the same - it sucks

EDIT - Looks like they still haven't fixed their landing page problem with redirecting canadians to the homepage. Ignoring the all in one site - the main landing page varies from sports to poker, and rarely casino. Right now I see a poker bonus on bodog.ca - if I clicked an affiliate link for casino why on earth would I give it a second look when the first thing I see is poker. The casino stuff is basically hidden.

The only landing pages in rotation right now

    1 - Main Event $1100 Bonus
    2 - Friends with Benefits
    3 - Courtside - for sports
    4- Generic Poker Bonus LP

I would not be using specific landing pages unless the url in the tracker has bodog.ca. All other Bodog.com links redirect to Bodog.ca - which they have known about for months and havent fixed.

Riyaz if you read this -
the tech team really needs to fix the redirect problem. They've known for well over 6 mths and shouldn't have implemented the redirects this way unless it worked 100%. If I go to any bodog page or for example this one

    http://www.bodog.com/welcome/play-no...onth-hand.html

I land on bodog.ca. The main page is quite confusing if you don't know where to look and why would a user want to click 3 or 4 times to get where they want. At the very least the trackers should go where they are intended if not the sub category - ie blackjack lands on casino.bodog.ca not the bodog homepage. /rant

The Affiliate Edge group has some good options, including a prepaid card that works with cc. And AffActive as well (sub link)

But thats gonna be your problem right there the credit card processing. Mastercard does not work at all...and Visa is a coin toss. Moneybookers is out unless you have funds in your account. But if you try to load to spend on Stars or anywhere else they automatically ask if its gaming related and deny your purchase if it is, or restrict the funds to non gaming.

I would suggest some of the Euro casinos - All Slots, Will Hill Group, bet365 etc. There's just more payment options available...and more games - and all CDN dollar so users don't have to suffer through the crappy USD exchange rate right now. ( God I hate the USD)

    Thanks CK.

Right now Bodog seems like a bit meh for promoting unless they sort out them issues.

    Hey Guys,

Thank you very much for the feedback. It is very much appreciated and taken into consideration.

We know that our geo-targeting system can be better and we are working within our company to do this.

The problem with the redirects is that if there is a specific promotion being offered on Bodog.com that is not being featured on Bodog.ca, it will automatically default to send Canadian IP's to Bodog.ca. We do have deep linking which will redirect a .ca player to the .ca landing page version but if the same promotion is not always being used on both sites it will default to the respective region's homepage.

We are running exclusive Bodog.ca promotions right now for the casino:

100% Sign Up Bonus at Bodog Casino

We've also recently just launched a HUGE national television campaign across Canada with the major Sports Station outlets and major Canadian television network, TSN, The Score and CTV. This will surely drum up some brand awareness for Bodog so that when your Canadian players hit your websites they will see a brand they recognise.

Please remember I'm here to work with you guys to maximise your profits and help grow your business, if there is ever an issue PLEASE contact me, you can reach me via e-mail or via Skype. I will be more than happy to work with you and make sure you have all the creative and links to ensure your traffic is dealt with in the right way.

You can reach me via e-mail Riyaz[at]bodogaffiliate.com or Skype "riyaz.r.abdulla"

Please don't hesitative to contact me.

    Cheers,

    Riyaz

MJ - when I mentioned MB I was referring to it not working with Canadian credit cards. Canadians can not load or make a purchase if it's gaming related. Unless the funds are in the account - its just not possible. It always asks me if the deposit is intended for gaming purposes. If you click no - you will not be able to use it for gambling. If you click yes, you won't be able to deposit. At least that's how it is for me...could work for someone else, but assumed that would be a system wide setup because of our gaming laws.
