    Default doyles-room.com

    www.doyles-room.com

They allow affiliates to use their name so this would make a great site for either general Doyles Room traffic or Doyles Room Rakeback or bonus codes or reviews or all of the above.

    i.e. bonuscodes.doyles-room.com / rakeback.doyles-room.com
    or doyles-room.com/bonus-code / doyles-room.com/rakeback etc

This domain was born to rank well for anything Doyles Room related.

I've had it parked for exactly four months and in that time it has gotten 48 uniques and 5 clicks parked at Fabulous, worth $6.40.

So while nothing spectacular - the domain does have built in traffic.

I want to make people aware of those who claim 'so and so allow their use in domains'. Firstly, not all AMs are responsible. I'm confident the majority of AMs on this forum are professional and give correct terms to affiliates who ask, but then again there are always those who lie and prefer to deal with the matter later.

Next, Ts and Cs in all poker room affiliate partners can change whenever they like, so just because they "allow" something one day, doesn't mean they can't change it (just look at FTs 60day rule or PS for example).

Next, if you study Doyles room Ts and Cs, they say:

    "Obligations Regarding Your Web Site.
You will be solely responsible for the technical operation of your Web Site and the accuracy and appropriateness of materials posted on your Web Site. You agree that your Web Site will not, in any way, copy or resemble the look and feel of Our Site nor will you create the impression that your Web Site is Our Site or any part of Our Site. You also agree that your Web Site will not contain any content of Our Site or any materials which are proprietary to DoylesRoom.com, except (i) with our prior permission, or (ii) materials obtained by you via the Affiliate Program information Site in accordance with the provisions hereof or the policies or instructions therein. You will indemnify and hold DoylesRoom.com harmless from all claims, damages, and expenses (including, without limitation, attorney's fees and expert witness fees) relating to the development, operation, maintenance, and contents of your Web Site or any materials, products or services linked to therein. You hereby acknowledge that your conduct as an Affiliate shall reflect on DoylesRoom.com and has the potential to cause substantial damage to DoylesRoom.com reputation and goodwill and that you shall at all times consider the goodwill and reputation of DoylesRoom.com.

Right, so I didn't mean to devalue your domain Zujo, it's nothing personal. I Just wanted to make people aware of these thing before they hear "this domain is 100% legal" etc.

I'm not sure what is so hard to understand about site name TLD domains for sale - I personally use the don't ask don't tell approach, and accept that the risk of doing business is that I will (probably) eventually have to stop using it - but there is still a boatload of money to be made until that day comes.

We constantly have this topic come up and the answer is always the same- buy and sell these types of domains at your own risk. I would say Zujo's price reflect the risk, but that is my opinion that it would probably be pretty easy to ROI that pretty fast and there are some people who might want to take that as an acceptable gamble.

I don't disagree with anything you said MJ. There is loads of money and ROI to be made from these domains, I don't discorougae anyone from buying them, I've got a few myself.

Just a fair warning is all i'm doing. Ofcourse it's alwyas buy at your own risk. Just saying any permission given to use domains from AMs or people on this forum isn't a guarantee for life. And permission from an AM isn't the same imo as permission from the company i beleive.

While you have made fair points there addz I don't think someones sales thread is the right place to do it.

The fact remains that doyles room do allow you to use their name in your domain, as MJ said the price reflects any risk which may or may not be involved.

I personally think this is a bargain.

This is a valid discussion but I don't think my sales thread is the place for it. Can we move this stuff somewhere else? And maybe get a 'no comments in sales threads' rule, like every other domain sales forum has?

    addz,

What you bolded there has nothing to do with a domain. I never suggested somebody put an identical site to doyles room on this domain. At present, Doyles clearly allows affiliates to use 'doyles room' in their domains - most sites do not allow this.

Yes, anybody can change their rules at any time, but at present, they allow this. I think this name is pretty low risk given that - party-poker.com would be a risky domain because they specifically say you cannot use that - and you are violating their trademark on top of that.

If you want to go around citing the FTP 60-day example then you can call every single decision, rule and policy by every single poker site into question on every single issue that ever comes up - what would be the point of that, other than making you an insufferable cynic?

It would be stupid of Doyle's not to allow You to promote them with that URL. You could always use the URL and website to redirect to another poker room if that ever happened.

Sometimes I am too honest for my own good, but:

Not really, technically this domain violates their Trademark (Doyles Room). If they decided to stop allowing that they could come after anybody with 'Doyles Room' in their domain. While they may not bother for somebody with doylesrooombonuscodeoffersinformationsite.mobi - they could come after this domain. If they did, the wise thing to do would be just to give it to them. They though may not even come after it then though - I've had a major tld cakepoker.xxx for a long time - even offered to sell it to them when I was a newb and didn't know the laws - they've never done anything other than ask me to transfer it to them for what I paid (when I offered to sell it to them). Didn't touch my affiliate account, no C&D etc (though I don't use it to promote Cake - just park it).

I have raised the min offer to the same as the BIN. Have gotten a lot of people kicking the tires and making various proposals via PM - I'm confident it will sell for $1k.

First $1,000 takes it. Payment can be made via P@yP@l or most any poker site.
