Default Premier League Fantasy Football Sponsored by Bet365

    Hi Guys,

As you may be aware, the 2011-2012 English Football Season is due to commence on the 13th August.

This season is shaping up to be a very exciting one where all of the top teams will pit their wits against one another over a gruelling 10 month jam packed fixture list.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a Football Manager?

This season bet365 is giving its affiliates a chance to experience it with our brand new FANTASY FOOTBALL affiliate competition.

Not only will affiliates be able to battle against one another, they will also have the chance to get one over on their affiliate manager and the rest of the affiliate team!

    Prizes

Unlike the real Premier league where the team who is top of the league at the end of the season gets all the adulation, bet365 has a series of prizes to keep even the most casual of managers interested in the competition.

    Overall winner
The top placed affiliate team at the end of the season will get the choice of an ipad 2 or a 50 inch Flat screen TV!

    Top at Christmas
Historically this is a key part of the season as the games start coming in thick and fast over the festive season. The top placed affiliate team on December 25th will receive an ipad 2 for being top at Christmas!

    Manager of the Month

Some months everything you touch turns to gold and your team can do no wrong. Whoever’s team performs best over each calendar month will win a Bottle of Champagne and the accolade of Manager of the Month!

    Prize Draw
Each week’s top performing team will be added into an end of season prize draw for a signed football shirt of the affiliate’s choice. This way even if you drop some points along the way you or miss the start of the season, you will still have a great chance to win something at the end of the season!

    How to Enter

We will be using the official Barclays Premier league website Fantasy Premier League - The official fantasy football game of the Barclays Premier League to run the competition, it is free to sign up to and is widely regarded as the number one Premier league fantasy football platform.

In order to enter the bet365 affiliate league you will first need to create your team and then PM me, alex_c, or email alex.carr@bet365.com your bet365 affiliate username along with your team name. Once we have this information I will send you the bet365 affiliate league code which you can enter on the site to access the affiliate league.

Look forward to seeing you all in the league. If you guys have any questions, just ask away here in this thread. Feel free to smack talk and discuss anything and everything football in this thread as well.

I believe GPWA and CAP are also going to participate in this league. Let's represent the poker affiliate side of the industry and dominate it!

I have a question; So a bunch of guys run around a field with no contact, helmets, or pads, and kick a ball around for a couple hours? Gee Whiz, I would imagine women's synchronized swimming might require more skill.

And with all that said, I will be in this league and probably dominate it. Thanks for setting this up Alex!

OK so there might not be any chop blocks, Stiff Arms or Headbutts (OK maybe a few headbutts Zidane Headbutt on youtube) but it is still the worlds most popular sport leaving women's synchronized swimming still way behind. But if Jeremy likes woman's synchronized swimming Ill try and get something organized just for him

Serriously thought Cheers Jeremy for sorting this out and look forward to beating you all season long

    Torres or not Torres?

Cant decide if he will come good or if he is just a waste of space?

I was thinking Aguero but the two together is going to be an expensive strike force. Im thinking Gervinho might be worth a shout as he got more assists than any player in the french league last year. Arsenal dont often spend and with the possible exile of midfielders and the lack of faith in Arshavin he could be one to watch.
