Default Moneybookers charged me 200$ for closing my account

Moneybookers decided to close my account without giving any specific reason, and charged me a fee of 200$ for it, because I allegedly broke their T+Cs.
I have no idea what I have done wrong, except for maybe I tried to access my account from a "not serviced" or "banned" country. I have been travelling extensively in the weeks before the closure notice. I only use the account to process affiliate payments.
I sent several emails to get details but no explanations were given. I'm so pissed about being treated like that. I mean 200$ to close my account, wtf???
You'd think they make enough money from their usual processing fees, exchange
rates, interest rates for money left in the accounts - do they really need to steal money from their customers?

If you're going to bet US Sports online - I strongly suggest 5Dimes.com or Bookmaker.eu.

Some succeed because they are destined to, but most succeed because they are determined to.

This seems outrageous. What country did you travel to? Do you have an idea which part of the T&C they think you broke?

Yes, back then that was a different issue which I settled with them by using my German adress instead of the Turkish adress. This now is a totally different story because I didn't make any deposits, payments or whatever - all I did is check my account for incoming payments. And with my German adress, under their T+Cs, I have the right to send and receive money even when it is related to gambling.
I was travelling the Caribbean and Middle/South America, I am wondering where the problem was caused. But MB doesn't even answer my questions what I did to cause the closing, or when.
I requested clarification several times now, and all I get is a stereotype email saying "You broke our T+C's".
I sent another email now, but I think I will have to rewrite a few articles about them on my websites...

Moneybookers are useless when it comes to support.

send an email to either Nikolai Riesenkampff or Martin Ott (joint ceo's)

they tend to re-act well to difficulties like this when it is obvious nothing untoward is happening

I sent a PM to you faststeady, maybe you can provide me with an email adress?
Btw, what pisses me off most is the fact that I recommended them on my websites, and then you get treated like this...

I had something similar happen to me a couple of years ago. I was travelling and accessed my account from a different country.

My account was frozen because of the access. However, it got cleared up pretty easily. I gave them a call, explained I was travelling, and my account was unfroze quickly.

Did you try calling them? I've never liked their email support either, but a phone call might do the trick...
