Reports back was that it was smaller than last time in terms of attendance 125 people which to me is a bit disapointing although most people seem to have had a good time and got value out of it - It seems a lot of people prefer these smaller events as it gives them a chance to meet everyone etc etc. Personally I like the massive ones where I can disapear home early without anyone noticing

With regards to Oz - I am not sure what to do - Its a big gambling market but the online side and especially the affiliate side doesn't seem to be quite ready for an event yet - The event itself and the content this time was actually really good and the delegate feedback was excellent but from a business perspective we make no money and it uses a lot of our time and resources so unsure right now. Personally I think we will be back but maybe in 2012 unless the casino, poker etc opens up online there sooner...Or maybe we go down the line of doing a more mainstream affiliate event with gaming included??

I live down the road from the conference and didn't go. Affiliate Managers were charged $500 for going, and there were only a handful of affiliates there form every account. Most of the Sydney based affiliates that I know didnt bother going at all, or showed up for 1-2 hours and left.
