People pirating my content

anytwo.com/author/squizzel/ copies several of my articles written on Free Poker Training | Expertly Written Poker Strategy Articles

I contacted the author and asked them to either place a linkback to my site with every article or remove my articles. The author did not respond and the content is still there several months later.

Is there anything i can do to get them to remove the content? Thanks guys,

Wtf. This sucks.

There should be some threads posted in the past about stolen content. Try to search for them. Out of my head, these are the steps you should take.

• Contact them again and tell them that the next step you will take is getting in touch with their hosting company
• Contact their hosting company with the details
• File a DMCA complaint

Anyway I would locate who they are hosting through and have their site pulled and I would file a report to google.

yes, report them to google spam and you'd be surprised that google will completely nuke their site.

i did this because a high-up .com in the onlinecasino industry changed from a casino to a .com info portal and (on what looked like a legit site) was nothing but stolen content that was spun and absolutely carelessly presented. i don't want to report the domain publicly, but i reported them to google, and google nuked their site for the exact match term which their site had began to rise to the top of page 1 for as a content portal.

Now, the site still has pr, but ranks absolutely nowhere for the terms they were ranking for counterfeitly.

Google, does indeed actively read reports if you submit one that makes sense. I've submitted 2 fer 2 successful ones for sites i saw stealing and spinning content. One was actually my content, and the other i just reported because the spun content was so carelessly and worthless presented. AND, these were big time domain names. If you can convince google that any domain name is largely presenting stolen / spun worthless content and only ranking for high traffic terms because of their domain name, they will nuke the sites ability to rank well.

i realize that this little excerpt is a bit off topic but the point is that google will nuke a rogue sites' serps if you report them.

That rakefest link also belongs to the sites listed in this query. I thought I would check to see where the bits of reviews came from and there are 3 or 4 sites with the same bit of text

Who knows he could have copied someone else's sites (the justpoker and other site are on the same IP while anytwo.com is different) but isnt the url and layout structure that of one of the rakeback providers. Maybe contact them and check is these ads are legit on anytwo. If so you could see if they'll close down his accounts.

Edit - Affiliate links are only on some advertisers - some link to the home and others are using links. I would think that this is where he's using his accounts idk for sure but would def grab what I can and confirm with the rooms.

People this is a good example of sleep problems caused by this job and waking up at 3 am only to find out that tv sucks at 3 am, and I have nothing better to do at this time than laundry (which sucks to), going out to grab and coffee followed by work and checking stats (and no didnt go to bed - found something useful to do ha)

In all seriousness though my day usually stars between 5 - 6am so this is rare for me and I will most certainly pay for it later this afternoon when I crash.
