I love that they're on twice weekly now. Although I wish they'd use some more pleasant backdrops for the videos. The washed out street doesn't really scream "professional"

I used to think this too, but after a while I realized that part of the reason Jtodd gets so many views and has been so successful with these videos is because he is a goof ball <---- meant in the best way. I'm sure people feel the same way about our goofiness on the radio at times.

I suppose it's easier to build your brand with something unique like doing shows on lawnmowers, roofs, and strange places then a professional back drop like some of the other industry videos.

I love that JTodd is a goofball as well, I certainly think that makes the videos more endearing. But I mean, go find some nice grassy area to do your video, or do it inside in a nice room, rather than some muddy street.

Also, while I got a kick out of his little hillbilly jig he did when making fun of Kentucky, I think that might turn off some viewers from that state (provided they have even discovered electricity?) because he's pretty much stereotyping everyone in the state based on the misguided activities of the governor.

If anyone took screenshots of the posts where effectivemedia was brought up, and where Lou said they were "managing cardpsike" for effectivemedia they are fucked.

Cool video - I like that the backdrops are different each time.

I agree this is great, keeps things from getting stale. I just couldn't stand the muddy street is all. They've done shows with some nicer backgrounds than that.

I believe there is a site you can go to and look up past pages on websites that are old or deleted. Maybe someone knows the name of what I'm talking about?

I haven't followed the CardSpike incident much, but I have e-mails from Greg Powell asking me to become a CardSpike affiliate with this text:
"This message was sent from Greg Powell to info@rakeaway.com. It was sent from: Effective Media Inc, 10967 Lake Underhill Rd., Orlando, FL 32835. You can modify/update your subscription via the link below."
The e-mail address is also an @effectivemedia.com e-mail address

I guess this is probably known, but just throwing it out there in case.
