Default Anyone Having A Tough Time Getting New Content Indexed?

I'm having a seriously tough time getting new content indexed the last few weeks - anyone else having this problem? I've recreated the problem on old sites with lots of content, new sites with little content, content linked sitewide and content that is only deeplinked. Wondering if it's just me?

I have one site that has been up for about a month now with a couple solid links to it and it's isn't index yet. I think I may have picked up a penalized domain or something though.

I also have such problems and they're absolutely new to me because my new content has always been indexed quickly. This is the case with newer sites especially blogs. Both independent WP sites and blogs hosted by WP. I decided to wait a bit but if others also have these problems it's a bit strange.

I am not having those problems. However, in the pass I face this and found how to get my stuff index quick. You will need to use stumbleupon for this. (I don't know if it works with other social bookmarking sites)

If its a new site: Stumble the home page
If its an old site: Stumble one or two of the new articles

Within a few days or sometimes within an hour or 2 your site or page will be index. Ever since I learn this I never have troubles getting my stuff index.

PS. I don't recommend using digg for this. They will out rank your page with your own content.

I noticed that Google seems to like wordpress a lot and the content that you are going to add to a WP based website is going to get indexed in a matter of seconds (if you have a PR3+ website).

Also I've had this website for more than 4 years it was a PR2 and it was a normal HTML built website. After I have transferred the content over to the WP platform the PR went up to 3 .

    Just some of my observations..

OH and yes.. in case you need some pages to get indexed get some links..

I remember matt cuts saying that if a page gets linked by cnn.com it will get indexed in google in a matter of minutes. And if a page of content has no links it means that no one is interested and the same thing applies by google. Make sure that you build some websites that are there only to push up the other websites you have and that are the most important to you.

I have a suspicion that MJ already knows about getting links to index new content. I have heard a few people are having trouble with ranking for long term keywords for now. Google may have gone through an update related to caffeine. There's a lot of speculation out there but I haven't noticed any changes with any of my sites.

We have a brand new site and it is getting indexed very quickly. All my old sites are seeing same or slightly increased traffic. We are not doing anything special other than posting content and doing a little link building. Nothing special or major.

I have one like that too. Indexed, but not coming up for any desired terms. I think I picked up a penalized domain.

Huge issues with Bing here - I've got a site which has been live for almost six months now and still only has the index page and contact page listed on Bing.

I just don't get it, especially as the site is on page 1 on Google for a fairly competitive keyword and has a number of good quality links pointing to it.

It's not about getting links or digging content. I guess we're all aware of that technique. It seemed that there was nothing you have to do with new WP posts. They were indexed super quick. And now I have a few posts that are not indexed for days.
