Yeah, I remember seeing a demo from Citrix two years (at the time it was Beta) on just this. Access your desktop via an iPhone. Pretty cool stuff.
Not sure what the differentiator is for this app?

What's wrong there?
Waiting for 1 week for my site to get approved - not even a message.
Some important questions came up in this thread and no reply.
Does not look that serious any more.

I realize the CPA is pretty low, but because we pay when the customer signs up for the first month, we didn't want to create a situation where people could make money signing up dummy customers for a month and getting paid more than that for their CPA. The hope is that it should be easier to get people to sign up for a $16/mo service and also it should be beneficial to get your rev share players playing more often.
Hmmm, my second post went through, but not my first, which is probably confusing for people. Here's my first post:
Sorry guys, for some reason my replies are not showing up or maybe aren't being approved. I signed up as a new user so I can at least answer your questions. It probably violates some more rules, but I feel bad not being able to respond to your posts.
First of all, this is not an app. It is a virtual server hosting service, which is fairly commonly available, only we have made our accessible from your iPhone. What subscribers get is a static public IP address (which many people use for hosting websites and is necessary for using VNC to access from your iPhone), hard drive space, and RAM. Plus the ability to log on using a secure VPN tunnel. It's basically like having your own Windows PC connected to your iPhone.
Great! This is working so the problem before is either with my account or the length of my posts, but I'll keep them short, just in case.
Now to answer MPC's question about security, we use a very expensive program called Parallels Virtuozzo, which many very reputable hosting companies use. This splits your virtual server apart as its own server. We cannot login to it or view any sessions on it, you are the administrator and the only user (though you can add additional users if you like). We can see what executables your are running on the cpu and what files are present (and our anti-virus software will regularly scan these as part of our security measures), but it is not possible for us to see anything on your screen. So basically, it is like logging onto your work server only you own the server and are the only user. If you created other user accounts on your server, then you as the administrator would be able to view their sessions possibly.
However, your password is the key to your server, which is why we require a password change the first time you log in.
For those who think $16/mo is expensive, it's actually extremely competitive with other VPS hosting services. Given the high costs of software, hardware, and colocation fees, we actually don't break even until a customer has been with us for 6 months.
TrickyPlay, sorry I took some time approving your application. I hadn't decided yet how to handle websites like yours.
I tried to answer most of the questions. Let me know if you have any other concerns. Again, sorry for the delay. Thanks!
Ashley
