Those are bonuses (retarded way of processing them I might add).

Basically the players get the bonus up front and added to their player account. Yes they will blow it (not always so keep an eye on this) but in most cases they spend that along with their money.

If the player spends the bonus - you earn on the amount deposited. If the player doesn't use the bonus you loose your % of rev based on that bonus. so example if they have a 3K bonus and your at 50% your account goes in the hole 1500 until the bonus is played back to the casino.

Hope that makes sense - even though its the most retarded system

Those "manager coupon credits" are a fucking joke.

We have one group of casinos where we made about $80K in CPAs last year, but if we were on rev-share, we'd have been something like -$140K.

Talk to your affiliate manager and get them to put you on a deposits - (withdrawls + chargebacks) plan. Those coupons are bullshit!!

What % of players would actually manage to get through the play through requirements without losing it all? I assume pretty low?

Near impossible to clear the bonus and it only pays on winnings from the bonus. The actual bonus is removed from the account when they withdraw. This is why it's retarded. Affiliates shouldn't cough up a % of the "fake bonus" from earnings and wait for the player to play it back. the player will never be able to withdraw the $2000 the casino gave them anyway.

But your question shouldn't be just what % of players can get through the bonus - you should also be asking what % of players leave the bonuses in their account (this will impact your rev)

Very shady practice - I wouldn't feel great about sending any action to them, as much as I realize I make my income from players losing I still want them to be dealing with a "fair shake" and honest casino - thanks for bringing this to light.

I wouldn't necessarily call them shady. The bonus isn't exactly beneficial to the player (neither are the games) but it's not as though the information is hidden from the players either. The info is there for the player to read - and you can tell the players to avoid the bonuses and why if you like. They must contact support first before making the first bet.

Anyway I didn't want to give the impression that Cplanet is shady for players, which is why I posted again. Pretty well near all the casinos have these conditions. Some as high as 40 x bonus + 40 x deposit and the bonus isn't cashable.

They do run a solid program and other then the coupons I've never had anything to complain about.I just don't like the system they use with affiliates and bonuses. (btw they are not the only RTG casino that does this)
