Default Poker Training Site Affiliate Programs

I wanted to open up the discussion about this. If there were a training site out there that had notable pro's and a kick ass affiliate program, would you promote it?

Personally I would be ecstatic if my forum members or players joined a training site. After all, it's always more profitable to have winning players signing up under us anyways.

I know RPT offers one, and some of the other sites do privately. But I really haven't seen one yet that is simple and easily fits into the way we do business and promote.

Anyhow, this should be a good thread, let's have a discussion about poker training sites.

Don't worry I am not opening up a training site, if I did though it would be for online slot players.

I have a few deals worked out with Leggo and SNG Icons - both these are great programs and the guys that run it are top notch! I have contact info if anyone is interested.

Also, Card runners has a decent affiliate program, but they have had some tracking issues.. Trikkur can speak more on that, he does work with sites like this too.

Seems like they've all had some tracking issues honestly, but part of the reason these companies haven't grown much lately is become they've failed to grab onto affiliates and their sites typically don't rank for the keywords that will bring in this type of player.

Huge oppurtunity IMO in this niche, but the future will be free/rakeback except for the absolute elite players who can justify the fee's.

I tried opening a poker training affiliate site about a year ago and got nowhere with any affiliate programs. CR and the other major sites that said they had affiliate programs pretty much ignored me. Seems like the only decent affiliate program is RPT, but that is a horrible site.

Speaking of RPT, I have been getting a pretty regular amount of search hits for "rpt poker" from eastern European countries lately, but I have no idea what they are looking for. Anyone know what this is?

I think there is a valid business case to me made for an open source training site. All videos user generated and user rated.

Oh, I did/do have a deal with RPT, but they went like three months w/o adding videos and the members has a revolt.. It was ugly from what I saw. I'm pretty sure they worked all that out, but the videos are sub par compared to Leggo and Icons.

    RPT = Real Poker Training
I were a member of their site a long time ago, and wasn't impressed (things may very well have changed).

I'v been wanting to do some affilaite business with training sites for a while, but have been holding it off because the better of the training sites don't really seem to be very keen at getting affiliates

I had problems with CardRunners tracking me. They were able to fix one of my links and found I had like 15 more signups than they were showing. They were working on the other 2-3 links that I used before that and are going to contact me when that is finished. That was approximately 4 months ago and I've sent 5+ e-mails since then all to be ignored.

StoxPoker removed about 5 players from my account. I argued with them, the players got re-added and now it showed that at least 1 of them converted. I never got paid by them for that player. They redid their site recently and now all those players have disappeared again.

DC set me up with a special affiliate program since they don't offer it yet. I've not promoted them too much except when I have people PM me asking for it. They are going to be releasing their affiliate program soon they told me. It's a pretty crappy deal though imo.

Leggo doesn't have an affiliate program yet.

Any of these sites would make a killing if they offered a half decent affiliate program. If one of them would cut their profits and give like a 50% affiliate deal, they would get a ton of new sign ups. They also don't have to change their business in anyway. Keep putting out the videos and accept all the new players.
