    Default Freelance Affiliate vs. using affiliate managers

    I'm sorry if this has been addressed on this forum already, I'm very new to this business.

    Say I have a website and decide I want to start promoting all different poker sites that I feel worthy of ad space on my page..

    can we discuss the pros and cons of the following;
    1. going directly to the poker site(or network? or both?)

    2. going to a poker affiliate manager site (or multiple AM/and or 1. too,. or is that even legal?)

    3. making a site devoted to a single brand(pkrrakeback.com type of site?)

    1. This is the only option for some programs. The biggest advantage to going direct is that it's easier to track separate campaigns. If you decide to sell one of your sites, you will know exactly how much that site earns.

    2. Advantage here is convenience and often better deals.

    3. Easy to rank and make money, but that puts all your eggs in one basket. If the site changes its terms and conditions, they may yank your domain and all future earnings.
    Even if you fall on your face, you're still moving forward.
