Our Poker Affiliate Winter Poker League

So yes, our winter poker league that we have discussed is really going to happen. I was up meeting with Fourcubed last week and we are going to put this on together, (PAL/PAS).

We are thinking a 5 week league to be played every Sunday at different times to make it friendly for our European affiliates. Each week players will be awarded points based on your finish, and we'll have a running leader board. Then week 6, we'll have a final table where the top 6 players will play at a final table for the prizepool.

I'd like to suggest we make this at least a 1 time buy-in of at least $20 to enter in order to keep the freerollers out. We can even do this like we do fantasy through paypal or whatever. The pre-requisite however is that you have to be either a PAL or PAS member as of the time of this post.

TonyG and myself will be the tournament directors, as well as the donkey's spewing chips each week.

I'd also like to open this up to any of our sponsors to sponsor the entire league on your site on a first come first serve basis, but you must accept U.S. players. The best prizepool contributor gets it.

Also we will be doing a radio show tomorrow (Thursday) and TonyG will be on and we'll hammer out all the details for the league and get this emailed out to you guys before the weekend. Ideally the first event can take place on Sunday November 6th.

My wife asked me if I like her or football more? I said, "is today Sunday?"

Obvious that day works for most and no day will ever be good for everyone. For me I need to pass, 17 weeks of the year Sundays are holy for me.
