    Default Poker Trillion Busto

Got the email this morning, now becoming "rockem poker".

In this day and age, CPA is looking better all the time.

Poker Trillion has gone through some rough times with moving from Boss media then to Everleaf. I don't think they had a very good business plan with all the money and promotions they were giving away and lead to this.

Default if not MGR then do I want to work with them at all

    hi

I can definately see your POV on taking CPA on sites that might be problematic BUT

the way I look at it is ... if I'm thinking that xyz site is only a site I would do CPA with ... should I do anything with them at all ?

afaiks it pretty common that everyone at some point has got stuck with poor player values and problems getting CPA's ... you dont get that problem with MGR

and if the room is going to be a poor performer AND / OR a site that isnt an easy genuine sell to visitors or forum members ... then I dont feel comfortable selling that site ... at the end of it people ONLY put money in a site they really like & trust ... and freerollers that dont convert dont get CPA's or MGR

if an affiliate isnt sold that they are going to be around - then how would a player be ... and importantly if affiliate isnt convinced they are already good or look like they will grow to be good ... then I personally dont feel comfortable selling in "a good new kid on the block" if I just think its another new kid on the block and want to cash and run

that said I probably loose a ton not getting onto a new site too quick - when other affiliate promote a new name right out the door - I'd rather be late and right 90% of the time (and get to see bad feedback or not), than early and wrong 50% of the time CPA or no CPA

on a long term - MGR is going to win out everytime - you just wait 6 months for the money over 6 months + get maybe another 6 months worth, maybe alot more

    just my 2p

    cheers scrawnybob

Is it a rebrand or a bankruptcy? They might be trying to rebrand themselves because of their bad rep from Boss. PT's site is still up and I can't find a Rockem Poker. I would assume player's funds are safe. Doesn't the network bank every skin?

I am guessing that you mean 'does the network (Everleaf) handle all the payments to players' and I am under the assumption that it does. I wouldn't think there are any players that are owed money from Boss still so I bet they're all safe. Now affiliates is a different story - it's up to the programs to pay them. This is usually done into players accounts, from the same money paid from the network to their players. The rest that's left over goes to the operator (skin).

I think Ryan from GooderPoker does some work with Everleaf; he would know for sure. Poker Trillion most likely want to ditch the name and start over with a new brand. I think it's a good idea as well.

All everleaf sites use the same backend, all payments are made on the same day to your affiliate balance. Afaik, everything to do with player cash and affiliate cash is handled by the metwork - at least it seems that way.

That is correct Everleaf handles player's funds and in Raider Poker's case the same goes for affiliates all the money is controlled by Everleaf and we use their banking system. I do not know if the affiliate funds are controlled by Everleaf for PT or not.

There is lot of stuff/rumours circulating around about why PokerTrillion went down, the general consensus seems to be that they simply ran out of money and didn't have the funds to pay for advertising space they had also been given.
It's nice to see that Colin seems to be moving over to rock em poker as well, certainly one of the better affiliate managers I have dealt with.

So I'm curious, if a player had funds on say Minted poker (for example) and they went busto (bankrupt) would the player be able to retrieve that money from Everleaf?

So what I am asking is would Minted just get paid rake by everleaf as opposed to handling a players money?
