I received this email today from FeltStars. Must be cuz they're on my blacklist since I haven't posted anything in this thread or any other lately that would place me on their radar...

This letter is intended to remove all doubt that FeltStars has any
    affiliation with
GameTech, FutureBet, or IGS. FeltStars works 100% with Merge Gaming
    Network as we are a
direct licensee with them. Absolutely no one who works for or with
    FeltStars has
    anything to do with GameTech.

When FeltStars first started operating, we used software
    provided by GameTech. It
soon became clear to us that GameTech was once known as FutureBet. As
    soon as that
information was confirmed, we began the long difficult process of
    distancing ourselves
from them. We did this, at great expense, because we are in this for
    the long term. Our
reputation is important to us and we would like our players to have
    nothing but 100%
confidence and trust in the service that we provide.

We will be more than happy to speak to anybody on your site that
    would like to
verify this. The CEO of Merge Gaming Network, Anthony Taylor, can
    also verify that we
    will work directly with them.

I would like to reiterate, GameTech, FutureBet, or IGS does not
    have any affiliation
    with FeltStars.com whatsoever.

If there is anything I can do to provide you with accurate up to
    date information
that will help you to ensure that you are serving your players
    effectively, do not
    hesitate to contact me.

    Sincerely,

Man, the more I think about it I'm so damn sick of losing players and money when Merge rooms close, they need to stop this silly crap.

So yeah my players have been moved to FeltStars, but they obviously don't plan on giving us commissions anymore for them. Meh not worth getting all worked up I guess, but Merge must take some responsibility at some point.

Oh wait! Now I'm pissed off, I logged into my Reefer player account, it updated to the FeltStars stuff, but my money is gone? I have $500-600 in there, my account balance is Zero... Just nice lol

so yeah if they are just stealing the players money, I'm sure the affiliates will be screwed for sure. WAY TO GO MERGE! Good times lol

    EDIT -

Yeah ok, I'm confused (Bday drinks +Party = Confused Ridge) First I thought I had commission in my reefer, then playing roulette last week I bumped it up to 5-600. BUT I am mistaken, that was on Carbon, but I still should have $200ish in my Reefer Player account.

I hit up Alyssa who is the AM of FS to see what's up, when she answers I'm going to link her to this thread.

Still messed up how these merger or w/e are happening

Yeah it does all seem messed up. For what its worth I do appreciate Dr. Check Raise at least coming here to explain some stuff. I do not know for sure all the fact of this Merge and all that stuff - but he did have the common decency to come here and stick his neck out to answer some stuff.

Merge on the other hand just sits back and watches while everyone else sweats it out like they always do.

I wanted to ask something - not to be taking out of context - but does Merge physically own any sites on their own network?

Specifically does merge have ownership of Carbon Poker? No need to read into it - I was told by someone Merge does own Carbon Poker and I have read this online as well.

I really think Merge needs to show a bit of class and come here.

Are you serious? While you may not be on the payroll, being a sponsored player associates you with the site whether you like it or not. To say you're the good samaritan independent adjudicator with no ties to either side is just ridiculous.
Currently looking to buy income earning websites. I have a large budget for the right project. If you have any form of money earning site in gambling, finance or any other related niche, and want to sell, ship me a pm and let's work out a deal.

    Also looking for premium domain.

I don't know what the ownership specifics are with Merge, however I think pretty much every network has a flagship brand that they own some sort of stake in. Cake, Merge, Ongame, etc. Most "networks" started as a stand alone room at one point.

C'mon Donny... I have your business card from FeltStars that you gave me at Heathrow it includes your name as well as the email address "affiliates[at]feltstars.com and a 604 (Vancouver) area code for your phone number. Please be honest in your posting about the merits of Feltstars.

For the record, IGS/Gametech Solutions (now GameTech Gaming) is Vancouver based. But I seem to recall your boss (Gian) is also in that geographical area.

FeltStars DID use Futurebet/GTS, they DID use ClickCashier and/or ePaycashier (IGS/GTS processing) they DID use the same support personnel (for live chat, Stephanie comes to mind).

They may have moved to private processing as that is/was an option for skins on the Gametech platform, but they are still using the Gametech software. The sign up process is the same (Sign up on website, not poker client like a "real Merge skin".

I am not 100% convinced that ties were severed from the Vancouver thieves. And at anytime, they (GameTech) can shut down the software. It is controlled in Vancouver not Australia.

When IGS was using Dobrosoft they lost the license due to breach of contract (not paying fees). They remained lurking in the shadows until striking a deal to handle North American licenses (skins) on the Merge network where after a rather steady run, they attracted a large group of licensees. And then all the sudden, the processing went to crap and I recall the response from IGS (as I was an AM for 2 skins) was it was an issue with eWalletXpress. Meanwhile, all the "real" merge sites where processing cashouts to US accounts via EWX without any issues.

This is the mode of operation for the Vancouver group. FeltStars were also having issues last year (or early spring) about long delays in processing cashouts.

More information and discussion can be read here: IGS/Futurebet/GameTech Solutions /GameTech Gaming blacklisted This has been going on a long time. Way too long tbh!

Thanks J - I was just curious. I had originally thought Carbon was just a skin of the Merge network - but now realize Merge owns it 100% from what I have been told from multiple sources.

I only wanted to know since I promote Carbon now - and I never knew Merge Gaming owns it 100% and has total control over it.

I was working for Canaffco at the time and my merits are from my dealings now and not tied to feltstars from LAC. From my own personal opinion with the recent changes in back end and changing of casino software and casino software is where I believe the changed has came from. Regardless of where I worked in the past this is my 2 cents now. And kind of odd calling out our personal info on the friendship side. And if you read the post a couple spots above they used in the post but severed guess the only person that will confirm that is Anthony from merge is going to be the only thing confirms that. As for Feltstars if I remember my info correctly the main office I think is in Belize but not 100% sure. As I was only working for canaffco for that weekend and not directly for feltstars.
