Default PKR (Affiliate Manager) Theft Allegations

According to our source on the inside (allegedly) an affiliate manager at PKR (with the company since its early days) was allegedly caught with her hands in the till.

    More concerning are the details...

She was allegedly retagging players (from affiliates and campaigns) into affiliate accounts controlled by her. Furthermore, (although less concerning for affiliates) she was subbing affiliates under an account controlled by her and reaping the 5% .

These allegations are extremely worrying and as poker affiliates ourselves we ask someone from PKR to shed more light on this please...

    Yours respectfully,

    Mark F

Edited because I've been told by a couple people in the span of a few minutes that it's true, so I'm not leaving up a somewhat positive post to cover for a thief.

I think we need to edit out a name here unless the allegation is more official (perhaps if pkr.com confirmed it). I'm editing this quick.....but wow if true that could amount to be a lot of cash.

I think most of us would know who that person would be based on the inital post. If this is true, it's certainly too bad but at least it's not as severe as some other situations that occured in the past. At least players didn't get screwed. This is a lesson to learn for PKR. They'll have to beef up their monitoring framework.

Wow, this is some juicy gossip to start the new year out with! It will be interesting to see what becomes of it. Whoever on the inside let the allegations out will probably be in a bit of hot water themselves.

Typically the higher up's in a company like to keep those kinds of things an "internal issue" if you know what I mean.

I agree this is a very important issue but I wonder why a person with only 1 post is making such strong allegations without any actual proof. Can you please provide more proof other than hearsay? Is this Mark from Sun Poker?

One thing I would like to add is I have asked the person in question to retag players that were attached to an affiliate (players contacted me about rakeback and said they signed up through me but didn't) and was told they didn't have the ability to do so, so are you 100% sure this affected affiliate accounts?

Ah well that's a shame. Worst part is we will never know if we have been affected I bet. I always wonder about accounts that go from earning steady over two years to nothing lol - But what can you do?

Graham, I run pkrnation and I know for a fact players could be retagged within a reasonable time frame. And a few were for me by the person on question.

As for these allegations, I'm really hoping they aren't true.
