Default How to find Poker Whales and convert them to RMP?

Where do you find Poker Whales among the poker high rollers?

How do you attract these whales to your site? What is the best call to action to make this whale deposit and convert them to a Real Money Player?

I think these whales are very rare to find, but you just need to capture one so you can study them and find more.

Should you make a (mini)website dedictated to Poker Whales?
    Best regards,

    Pathaksa

I don't think a whale is going to be self-identifying as such and actively seeking out sites on how to be a better whales. AKA, whales most likely aren't going to search "poker whales" to find a room (in case that's what you meant). Maybe try building a high-quality, valuable site about bonuses or poker, and simply target whale conversions by emphasizing things whales care about. Like, exciting games, good graphics, cool features, etc. Make the site look very legtimate, since players are going to be trusting your reccomendations with a lot of money on the line.

    agreed.

But people still play big bucks on sh*t looking sites. So i guess you just gotta find regular people, and they might turn out to be whales.

    edit:

Are poker whales maybe searching for big deposit bonuses or VIP perks and priviliges? Maybe if you just start a poker site and you are dedicating it to Poker Whales then eventually they might be thinking: "hey this is the place to be for Poker Whales". Just act like you're a poker whale yourself, build a theme around poker whales. I'm thinking I'm gonna apply the law of attraction on this. You made some good points on this Jason.

Very good advice. Think about what high volume players look for in a Poker room and then provide that information on a website and try and get those players to convert to a suitable Poker room for them.

The problem is that if an affiliate knows of a way to attract high volume players through certain keywords, it is very unlikely that they are going to tell you about them. This is something that you will need to think about for yourself.

I think the biggest problem with poker whales or in other words poker pros is they eventually hear about rakeback. So if you really want to keep big poker players you are going to have to offer rakeback.

Remember that new whales are created every day too, cater for the masses and give them the best deals right off the bat. You'd be surprised how many 'non-whales' start paying you back down the line when they learn/move up/turn pro.
    Sort of ex-rakeback affiliate.

In todays age as mentioned above, finding a whale is like finding a pot of gold at the end of the everlasting rainbow!!!

If you do, however get one and see he is generating you and the poker site a lot of money, make sure you talk to your affiliate manager and both work together on offering him the best possible deals...

This way everyone will win in the end...

    Warm Regards

    Colin
