Default Ladbrokes, rake back banners & massive fines

Just letting those like me who get a zillion emails a day and can easily miss important ones that you need to check your Ladbrokes banners and make sure they don't contain the words Rake Back or it looks like the affiliate may be responsible for massive fines...seems a bit odd to pass the fine onto the aff's, but there you go....here's what they have said...

    1st Email

NEW ‘RAKE RACE BANNERS’ – We now have new Rake Race Banners which are available on Ladbrokes Affiliates it is imperative that the previous one with the text - 'better than rake back' are replaced with these new ones. The fines are massive!!!! This notice has an immediate effect and if Ladbrokes is fined between £40K and £80K and we do not want to be in a position where we have to start aportioning blame and taking any unecessary action under the terms of our contract.
    2nd Email

Dear all, we just would like to follow up the email that was sent yesterday about the fact that some of the banners (Million Rake Race Banner that carry the sentence 'Better than the rake back') has to be immediately removed or amended with the new ones. We will amend directly those centrally, however if in case you have coded the banners yourself than we need to get your immediate cooperation as the fines are massive if we do not remove those old incorrect banners. We apologies for the inconvenience caused and also for the 'alert email' we had to sent yesterday: we would like to stress that this was done in the best interest of everyone given the importance and urgency of the communication. We have great new banners available at Ladbrokes Affiliates and we are more than happy to assist any affiliates that has any concern or any question regarding the message sent yesterday. If this was for any reason unclear please do accept our apologies and feel free to contact us on pokeraffiliates@ladbrokes.com. Many thanks for your patience, understanding and sorry for any incovenience caused. Kind regards, Simone and Craig Ladbrokes Poker Affiliate Team

I don't think they would pass the fines on, but they would probably remove you from the program.
