Cool promo, I hope they have all of our cashouts and payments sorted before they start promoting this. I wonder if $30M will be enough to "un-piss" people off.

There name is burned until everyone gets paid, then maybe, just maybe we consider putting $100 at a time.

Bad reporting and an even worse popup. Last I read, Wembley said they were not booked for those dates, so this might be more of a fishing expedition than anything.
Also unsure where the tidbit about FTP only qualification came from, I don't see that anywhere.
I think the event was initially scheduled sometime in May 2012 and 2+2 checked to see if the stadium was booked, but it wasn't or something? I think from there the video was taken down for a bit and the date was changed to Sept 2012... I still don't see anything mentioning FT as the only place to qualify?
Maybe it was just assumed as the founders are the potential buyers of FT.

Pretty sensational, would rather see them successfully pull off a 5 mill guarantee or something like that, first.

News: Laurent Tapie confirms to PokerStrategy.com: ISPT is on for 2012
Seems legit, very good news if it's true since it is strong evidence that Full Tilt should actually be making a full comeback!
I haven't been following the FTP mess much until the agreement was signed... I'm confused how this event hints towards a successful takeover of FTP and was wondering if anyone can shed some light on that? From my understanding the BTG is far from buying FTP, as it relies on several conditions and there is a clause from my understanding that BTG can cancel the agreement anytime? In the article above it doesn't mention anything about FTP either? It mentions that partners will be contacted shortly and 1 partner will be chosen to represent each country... Based on that I don't see how this hints towards a successful FTP comeback? I mean the deal could get done, but couldn't this also be free press for the ISPT? The BTG has until Dec 2011 to analyze the successful takeover of FTP from my understanding, which is right before the satellites for the ISPT are expected to start... So couldn't this just be a way to garner lots of media attention and draw some attention to this new event by the ISPT, which BTG is a 30% shareholder in? I could be totally missing something here, but that's why I wanted to post... Maybe someone can let me know what I'm missing?
Hmm, what's the best thing you could do atm if you wanted to promote a $30million tourney?
Also I agree with parttimepoker - recently the standards of reporting in this industry have taken a dive.
BTW I would love it if all this comes to fruition, but I got my cynical head on, just seems so obvious.
Looks like they are using PokerStars software if the viddy is anything to go by:
