That's the good thing about promoting training / software / etc as opposed to rooms - no deductions or chargebacks.

I started out making money online with Ebay and drop-shipping sexy lingerie back in 2000.

I remember when I made my first affiliate dollar online promoting online poker back in 2002 when there was almost no competition.

My little 20 page poker site with few backlinks made $50 from Amazon poker book sales and $250 in Party Poker sign ups in the first month. I was stunned and thought I must be an SEO marketing god. lol .. remember those days Jeremy?

Second month - $500 monthly recurring

Within a year I was making 4 to 5 thousand per month with little daily work being done on my one poker site.

It was like shooting fish in a barrel... hey Randy Ray?

Of course the sh#t hit the fan in 2006.. and again now in 2011.. just a month ago I was making 3 or 4 hundy per month in passive income from Full Tilt players I signed up years ago.... now zilcho per month.

My point is, if you can make even one affiliate sale in today's heavy competition... then you have the smarts and skills to take it all the way in affiliate marketing if you explore new niches...bob and weave.... and play the game to win.

Figure out how you made the one sale... then replicate the process to make hundreds more sales.

Easier said that done... yes but it is possible.. you can do it

Affiliate marketing, in general is an awesome business model.

You send the traffic - presell the product or service - and collect your commission - no product creation - no inventory.

Just think of yourself as a online traffic sender and promoter.

I've been making money online now for over 10 years and the new affiliate opportunities that popup everyday overload my brain to the point of major paralysis.

I've lost more money from endless research, over-thinking and just plain self-doubt than anything else.

Just do it.. try it... no matter how crazy....

You'll have to find your own way, what niches, what traffic methods, pre-selling strategy... list building!!

Here's how I make most of my money online today

Killing it on Amazon - thousands of products to promote, endless niches - great conversions 16.76% last month - best ever

Niches - Health products mostly - stop snoring - diet supplements - sex toys huge seller - secret niche don't ask.

Niche ClckBank products sell well IF you can produce targeted buyer traffic and set up an effective sales funnel by list building.. not that hard it can be done with a bit of creativity and work.

I also dabble in offline ... making websites for local businesses - I don't recommend it ... very tough sell despite what you may read about local businesses begging for marketing help. Cheapest buggers on the planet... end of story.

Domaining - good money if....... too many ifs for me personally.

Good god how do I find the time to make money AND enjoy life?

Oh yeh, 90% of my income is on pure auto-pilot as an affiliate marketer once all the hard work it done.

Lets see... how should I spend the rest of this day?

I think I'll go down to inner-harbour for a world-class fish and chip dinner in the most beautiful city in the world (Victoria BC Canada) then head over to the library with free WiFi and work a couple of hours on my websites to make even more money.

Life is good for affiliate marketers after the hard work of set-up is done.

I wish I was starting out fresh today in affiliate marketing with out the baggage I have..... a clean slate.
