Using a PR service is what I meant to say. Articles on your own sites are fine.

Thanks for clearing that up Prop.

Its just the point of making it known "our affiliate earnings are being threatened". There was no real need to add that. You simply only have to convey the message that you want all press releases approved. If an affiliate made errors in the releases you ask them politely to correct them.

"If there are unapproved releases sent out, then the affiliate traffic will not be accepted."

Affiliate traffic = signups and commissions? Or is that an assumption?

I think if you clarified that I would not have posted as such, because if affiliate links are not accepted
on press releases that whole statement above is irrelevant.

Thanks Atil, you're too quick. See my edit above as well
If you're going to bet US Sports online - I strongly suggest 5Dimes.com or Bookmaker.eu.

This is a very serious matter and we need to make sure all PRs via companies are approved. Articles on your own sites are fine. I never said that, affiliates will lose all their affiliate income (in that month or more), but just the traffic will not be accepted.

What does that mean you will not accept the affiliate traffic? How could you decline the traffic that comes from the press release. Explain what you mean by it you will not accept it please. If no affiliate links can be attached to said press release (as Prop said) then what is their to reject? See my point?

Prop said it perfectly actually which is why reacted.

    Are you really serious?

Any mention of CarbonPoker or it's brands in an unapproved PR through a company, will result in ChipSplit staff reviewing the traffic from the affiliates. ChipSplit is not here to screw with affiliates and had always been fair. If this ever were the case, we would make the correct call.

All in all, we are at a time where we can't have PRs released through companies. Simple. 99% of affiliates don't even use a PR service, so it doesn't even affect you or them.

If you have any questions, please feel free to PM me.

    Ok so everyone understands......

Merge is coming back to the U.S. market

While it is not a secret, the network is requesting that it's operators avoid un-needed press on their U.S. presence by discouraging press releases.

Chipsplit is advising affiliates in advance to avoid doing press releases and discouraging this by stating they will not pay-out on traffic that is sent via press release.

Atil stated that all other forms of traffic, SEO, emails, news articles, etc. is fine.

It's pretty simple, just don't use press release services.

Yeah Jeremy's post and one above it made it clear. 4 people were quick to jump in here after the first post which I'm anyone who doesn't understand why either had no interest or had advanced knowledge. I had no clue Merge was coming back to the US when I read that.
