Default What Would You Be If You Weren't An Affiliate ?

Did any members here trade finding a cure for cancer, or forming the next rock-band sensation, to make easy money from websites instead ?

    Find out in this thread

Personally, If I'd never discovered affiliating ... I'd be an over-stressed project manager still working in the tech-industry.

I have a masters degree in immunology and was planning on doing a PhD focused on cancer research, but I just found the research incredibly tedious so I started looking for a new career path. I funded the masters playing poker, so everything kind of came together.

Next person needs to be someone who would have turned to dealing drugs, so we can balance out the Affiliate Marketing Karma.

If not an affiliate likely e-commerce, but screw doing that when you can just sell other peoples products.

Although the eventual plan would be to diversify into other types of online businesses for sure.

I'd probably be a freelance writer. I used to own a bookstore though, and I taught high school English. I've also done sales, and I've been an affiliate manager, so I could probably do any of those things.

If poker wasn't an option, I'd be doing some form of lame IT related job.

I can make a solid living betting sports but it is time consuming and becomes less fun after a while. I'd more than likely be a heads lines man offshore with someone that doesn't take US bets (wouldn't want the US hassle) seeing as I have gambling related felonies that won't let me work in Nevada (strange how that all works). If I wasn't felon though, forget sports betting and perhaps even forget affiliating, I'd work my way up in and be a casino executive in Las Vegas no doubt about it. I wouldn't mind a real life job if it was something like that - and I mean becoming top dog of a casino (not a pitboss) even a small one would be hella fun for me and I could get really addicted to that work.
If you're going to bet US Sports online - I strongly suggest 5Dimes.com or Bookmaker.eu.

Some succeed because they are destined to, but most succeed because they are determined to.

I would probably be working for my dad. His company sells furniture/lighting to hotels.

I'd probably be in sales making a lot of money but miserable as shit having to do TPS reports and answer to some corporate prick.
