Default Upcoming Cookie Regulations in the UK

    Hi there,

Can anyone point me in the direction of a relatively jargon-free article describing the upcoming change in Cookie Regulations in the UK, what they'll mean and why they're important?

The official name of the act is "Privacy and electronic communications regulations" but Googling that just brings me up with a whole lot of legal language which isn't always the easiest to get my head round!

    Cheers,

The cookie regulations!! The 22nd largest nation in the world wants to regulate cookies!! The only logical response is this. Cheat your taxes by a singe quid, add an additional cookie to your website, and when they come asking about it, tell them to go...

The above is my very serious response. However to answer in the way you're looking for. When it becomes an issue to the point some changes is needed, affiliate programs will let you know about it (they always have with UK laws facing affiliates in the past).
If you're going to bet US Sports online - I strongly suggest 5Dimes.com or Bookmaker.eu.

Some succeed because they are destined to, but most succeed because they are determined to.

Relating to player tracking, I don't think we have much to worry about as affiliates, after all it is not us who are actually placing the cookies.

I just hope the UK facing sites who don't currently offer bonus codes are working hard to get them implemented, 'cos nobody in their right mind is gonna be sending traffic to a site that has no way of tracking which sign-up came from where unless the player signs up immediately.
